Great location! We wanted to be in the Kapaa area so it was a good choice. The shopping center next door was so convenient. We enjoyed the deli at Coconut Marketplace. The food was so good and it was so close to Plantation Hale Suites we just walked over. Great staff who were so friendly and helpful. Overall, good experience. We will probably stay there again the next time we're in Kauai.

The traffic could get really bad in the area. Two way streets were always making it hard to travel in both directions. You have to plan on leaving earlier to anywhere you are going to. Also, just wished the stove was updated, but it worked out fine. Appliances were a little old.

Very big apartment and quite clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the necessary including oven, microwave, bug refrigerator, dish soap, coffee maker, creamer, sugar, coffee, tea, salt, pepper...and they provide also beach towels and all the needed toiletries Good internet connection and very well connected by car, at walking distance of 2 different malls where there are several shops and restaurants. There is a beach 5 minutes walking that is also nice (not the best one in the island but quite good)

Something that can be improved is the beach towels. They are a bit small.

Very pleasant greeting with helpful local information from Bill. Nice second floor room with a breeze, a view and a comfortable bed. Close to the Coconut Marketplace with an ABC Market, some good restaurants and an easy walk to the beach.

The beach really isn't swimable. All rocks just off the shore. Pool near our unit closed. Two others open, though. Would like a table to eat on the balcony.

The rooms and location were good and apt for us to go around for views and/or food/drinks. The staff were real friendly and helpful and made the stay even better.

The beach right in front of the property is walking distance and could have been little more friendly looking. The long grown grass with poor lit roads make it slightly scary for us outsiders. It might very well be a safe area but we couldn't take chance in a new place.

Unit D2. Great water pressure. Good internet. clean, comfortable, located in my home town. replenishment of consumable provisions are fairly convenient.

cost. weird structural support for the bathtub. The operations really needs to give serious consideration to returning to daily cleaning. Stay-experiences decline steeply in value with every day that the unit remains uncleaned.

Location was very convenient, close to food and shops, and walking distance from several things. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and it was clear the staff tried to make things nice for the stay. Room was clean, and the ability to have a kitchen and cook was invaluable for the length of my trip.

The bathroom was a little dirty, and there was a rather large crack in the sink. It was still perfectly functional, but did give add to the fact that it seemed a little dingy. Worked great though, its really my only comment, and it certainly wasnt a deal breaker.

I really loved how big the suites were! I was so surprised because I thought I had booked a small bedroom. I didn't realize all the rooms at this place are suites! Definitely the most affordable spot on the island. I spent quite some time looking before booking too!

One of our lamps wouldn't turn on and the water pressure wasn't great but honestly such a nice place overall.

All staff members at Plantation Hale Suites were very courteous and helpful. The suite was well equipped and clean. Though we had no in-suite cleaning service (due to COVID restrictions, we were told), we had replacement towels and other supplies whenever we asked for them. The pool and spa area was very clean and nice. Our second-floor suite had a nice lanai. We liked that we could walk to the nearby shopping center, restaurants, and the beach.

The suite showed its age with a weathered sleeper sofa that was beaten down in the center section. The carpet had a couple of large stains that apparently couldn't be removed. The air conditioner was an older under-the-window unit that was noisy.

Staff, staff, staff. They took acceptional care of us, especially when we got home from the hospital after my wife's emergency hip replacement surgery. This crew was very accommodating and we felt right at home. So happy to have had our vacation/recovery base at Plantaion Hale.

Our only critique might involve better maintained Lanai screen doors. Everything else was perfect!

We loved the friendly staff, the pool was really nice and hot tub as well. Very clean and well kept room with a great kitchen! Beautiful trees around and very central to the airport and other areas for eating and the beach. The bed was also very comfortable.

Some of the furniture was a little outdated and scratchy couch, but it did not take away from the experience.
