Front desk (black lady) with short hair has no cuatomer service skills, very rude. This employee needs to be removed from front desk check ins and placed cleaning rooms away from customers. Website should specify deposit needs to be placed on card, and no cash deposits accepted. Free parking with hotel stay much appreciated. This was 2nd time stayed at hotel.

Very Friendly Staff! I always enjoy my stay, I do wish I could outright book the handicap room, but the office staff has always been accommodating! I really like the fact that Waffle House gives a discount for those who stay at the Motel! I usually just add that to the tip, but I really appreciate the discount. AND it's within walking distance to Randall's Grocery Store! Free Cruise Parking is such a Great Thing!!

Toilet Paper would be nice, and the bathroom floor was very dirty. I somewhat understand this, as the cleaning staff has limited time/availability for such a busy hotel/motel.

The staff was great. The value of the hotel was greater than the quality of the room. Much needed updates. The tile was loose in the bathroom floor, the carpet in the room felt disgusting to walk on, so there for you had to wear does in the room. Much needed updates.

The quality of the room. It’s clean but the carpet is a bit disgusting to walk on, you have to wear doors & for the price I don’t feel like I should have to wear shoes in my room. Other than that, the staff was pleasant & the location is good & the room was clean.

The front desk clerk was excellent unfortunately I cant remember his name, not because he didn't make an impression, he did the well!I had a bit of an inconvenient start. The door lock would not work. First, he changed the key cards. Again they did not work. This time he decided to change rooms for me. The problem fixed. H

Just the inconvenience of having to walk back and forth to and from the office, but I felt like he did his job. He even asked me if I'd like a room closer to the office to save the long trip.

I want to let everyone know that my experience at The Beachcomber was absolutely the best. While some say it's no better than a Motel 6, I beg to differ. The customer service there is impeccable. I reserved a week and due to to a family emergency, I had to leave one day early. Normally hotels will haggle with you over refunding the last day. NOT THIS HOTEL! They went above and beyond for me as I really needed it. Thank you Amber Amber is the most sweet and very professional. The hotel was clean, the air conditioner worked WONDERFUL as we needed it to since it was 104 outside. I noticed they were upgrading rooms on the back side as well. The whole experience was great and I will stay there every time I go to Galveston. See you soon Beachcomber Inn...

The staff, the comfy beds, it was clean, location, good internet.

The hotel was great, nice staff, everything good BUT there was a very moldy smell in our room, when we checked in we asked immediatly for another room, what the nice receptionist gave us without problems, but the 2nd room had this smell too, a bit less but still very strong, we ve been there 2 nights and everything else was fine, but the smell was very disturbing and we re no pussies ;)

The staff was helpful, especially the front desk. Above and beyond assistance was given whenever needed. The beds were comfortably firm and appropriately decorated with whimsical oceanic theme. All appliances worked as you would hope they'd do so. The TV is huge and carries a good channel selection. Ours was a Samsung. Outdoor pool is heated and a good size for my young grandkids. Decent Chinese restaurant next door. One block away was a Randall's with a Starbucks. Popeyes and McDonald's is just across the street. Beachcomber is only two blocks from the Seawall. I used Uber to get to attractions which averaged about $11 per ride.

The outside of Inn needs a fresh coat of paint if modernization is out of the question.

The staff were very helpful and friendly upon checking in. We were moved to a downstairs room when we booked an upstairs room (preference), and they helped us move back upstairs super easily. It's super close to the beach and my girlfriend and I went to the rainforest cafe for dinner the night we stayed. It's a super cute beachy hotel, clean, and comfortable.

The facilities were a little outdated, but everything was VERY clean and nice.

Pleasantly surprised by the comfort and appointments of my room. Best sleep I've had in days. Thanks!

The pool is in kind of a dumb place, but I guess it's too late to change it now. It's right in front, too near the road and shaded almost all afternoon this time of year. All the rage to put them out front in the 60s (or 50s) when pools were relatively scarce I guess, but now an unfortunate legacy.
