Quality Inn & Suites - Glen Rose

we’ve stayed there once before, staff was nice, rooms were nice & clean, location great, had the breakfast once and it was great!

Bad phone and WI-FI Service and could not tell what the tv channels were…no programming! also, the entrance door was broken just as it was the last time we were there almost a year ago! also the toilets are too low to the floor, but we managed! Lol

The hotel was clean and it was conveniently located in the middle of town. The beds were super comfortable and the room got really cold at night (we cranked the ac way down just the way we like it!) They had an indoor pool which the kids loved and a hot tub which us adults enjoyed. The front desk was considerate enough to give us a call a day in advance to ask us if we meant to book a smoking room (no we did not) and to change it for us. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again. The local adventures were a lot of fun (dino world, fossil rim, big rocks park, the local snow cone stand and the town pool, which is the biggest pool in texas!) We had tons of fun, would do the same activities again and there were several activities around town we did not do that we would enjoy coming back for.

The only aggravations of our trip had mostly to do with covid (breakfast services were cancelled) and with the town itself. We came on a holiday weekend and expected it to be somewhat busy. It wasn't. In fact, the entire town was kind of shut down, with most of the restaurants closed. We actually found it quite a pain to find places to eat that were open over the weekend. The places we ate were mostly ok. Knowing that a lot might be shut down, we might bring a cooler and hit the grocery store for sandwhich stuff the next time we come in town. Although, if its not a holiday weekend, it might not be an issue.

The location was good and easy to find. The staff was very friendly, and they let my kids swim a little past time which made them so happy.

We could have used more soap and towels in the room.

That Mr Jim's pizza can not deliver to the room because owner expects them to give him free pizza when they deliver. I had to go out in the parking lot in the rain to get my pizza. Owner actually threatened to call cops at one time if they came on property.

Indoor pool and spa was fun, good location, very friendly and accommodating staff. Staff went above and beyond to make us happy.

Carpets we’re old and outdated, offered a slight old smell.

Convenient location, staff were great. Price was good. Felt safe.

The bed. For me the mattress was way, way too firm.
