Everything was fine. The decor and common spaces were exceptional! Except for the description on Booking.com.

The description on Booking.com was very misleading. It was listed as a Hotel but it was a B&B. No restaurant, but there was an excellent restaurant less than 5 minutes away. The room was described as a Junior Suite with an extra room, and a private terrace. The access to the ensuite / bathroom was up a wooden staircase, the extra room was also.up another staircase out of the bathroom, and the private terrace was up yet another staircase from the extra room. The private terrace was whilst large, very unkept and generally not convivial to sit down in. We suggest that the description on Booking.com be revised substantially to avoid future disappointment.

Large room in a villa-like manor house..17th C and glorious. So easy it was to have very good service and imagine living in such comfortable splendor. Breakfasts were an anticipated delight; staff anticipated every need. The owners and staff came close to being like family after 5 days. We shall return. Precious place👏👏Joyce Clark/Ghassan Habib

Liked every aspect!! Easy to get in and out of Aix to make day trips in the area. Parking is a challenge unless you request a space in advance. The hotel happily arranges parking if requested prior to arrival day.

The location was excellent. Within easy walking distance to everywhere within the Old City. The room was spacious with great decor. The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast at 25€ p/p was over priced. We could walk 5 mins to the main street and enjoy similar breakfast for 7.5€ p/p. Also when we booked this hotel, in the description it stated a washing machine & tumble dryer were available. This was not the case which was disappointing. A laundromat was suggested.

Even before we arrived, the hotel’s hosts reached out with a friendly call to check on our arrival time. As soon as we entered the door of this elegant 17th-century maison, Laman took our bags and seated us in the chic living area with coffee and biscuits. She showed us the garden and breakfast area, then brought us up to our room. The room was more lovely than pictured, with very tall ceilings, a view to the garden, and a perfect mix of original antique details and modern art and lighting, all chic and luxurious. The large bathroom was clean and modern, with mini fridge. Owner/hosts Margherita and Anthony were gracious and welcoming. I wish we had more time to stay but we will return. Even the breakfast was perfect.

This Boutique Hotel is located in the center of City Center of Aix de Provence...we explored all the different churches, fountains, museums and restaurants on foot. They have a nice mix of antiques and with mid century modern furniture. Our family felt like we were staying with friends.. Breakfast was a perfect French breakfast..a cheese platter, the most delicious croissants with jam and butter, yogurt, granola and fresh fruit and of course fabulous coffee and fresh OJ... Margarita and Anthony were gracious hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The building is rich in history...

This is a charming small hotel in the centre of Aix-en-Provence - ideal of walking to shops and restaurants. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lovely owners who explained the history of the house and how Pauline Bonaparte the sister of Napoleon Bonaparte had been a frequent visitor. The decor is very unique, stylish and eclectic, with modern art and furniture sitting comfortably alongside beautiful antiques. This ambience is carried through to each of the individually decorated bedrooms. Our bedroom came with a large bathroom with impressive stand alone bath and spacious shower. Our bedroom was beautifully appointed with a large and super comfortable bed as well as a statement large leather rocking chair. We especially loved the gorgeous mix of lighting - from intricate antique glass chandelier in the bathroom to fun modern bedside lights which came to life at night giving the room a lovely cosy yet quirky glow. Breakfast is served in the main sitting room and comes with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious croissants and pain au chocolat. We loved our special stay here and would definitely come back.

In a lovely garden but overpriced--continental breakfast at 25 euros is pricey.

Wonderful period building beautifully decorated. The property is conveniently located in the center of Aix en Provence. It feels more like an upscale Bed & Breakfast than a boutique hotel. Anthony and Margherita are wonderful and helpful hosts. I was given what I believe to be the best room in the building. Very spacious with Nespresso machine. Lovely spacious bathroom

For the price I believe amenities such as slippers, body lotion and conditioner should be available. I only had shampoo and shower gel. I asked for slippers and the hosts very kindly provided them. Minibar is also empty. And since the hotel only offers breakfast it’d be nice to have a small snacks selection

The location was great although not quite 4X4 SUV friendly! The staff (family) were very positive, friendly and helpful and we enjoyed an excellent supper in a resturant close by. Parking wasn't too far away and easy. good access to the town. Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely.

Overall it was somewhat faded elegance, the bath didn't work and the wet room shower made the floor flood! They need to check up on their cleaning too.

The hotel was very close to the centre of Aix, so an easy walk. The hotel is located in a narrow old street so driving there was a bit of a challenge. The property is a lovely old house, full of character but with an eclectic twist. Our room was on the first floor which overlooked the garden. There was a great walk in shower. The room was lovely and quiet. The breakfast was very good.
