Since years our favorite stay in France when travelling, but lovely for more days as well as the coast around Dieppe is wonderfull, the real Normandy. Most wonderful place with garden like a fairytale, beautiful buildings, friendly lady (the one serving diner is very sweet and helpfull). The diner is always the best French cuisine as we remember from long ago, here still alive!

Breakfast could have been more choise and more helpfull, no croissant or fruit, yoghourt came nearly afterwards. But ok this is France 'old style' as well. However the quality of the food is great as well, that's what counts.

Breakfast was good: coffee, croissants and toast with home-made jam. There were other options which we didn't choose. The location is unique, a beautiful, quiet medieval building with a walled garden, and only a short drive (or taxi ride) from the ferry. The hostess was very accommodating; we arrived rather late for the evening meal but she wasn't fazed and gave us time to get unpacked and freshened up before an excellent dinner.

No complaints. Everything was as we expected, as we have stayed at the Manoir before. The last time we had a suite of rooms in the main building; this time we were in a smaller room in the gatehouse, not quite so atmospheric as sleeping in a round tower bedroom but perfect for what we needed.

We stayed here for one night prior to our morning ferry departure and I wished we would have stayed a few nights longer to explore the area. The property is outside of the hustle and bustle of Dieppe but only a short drive away. The property appears to be an old villa with beautiful gardens that you can walk around. We loved the quiet, tranquil setting and had a wonderful dinner at the onsite restaurant. The owner was a lovely lady who was very kind to us as was the nice lady who served us dinner even though we did not speak French. We would stay here again.

Location is very handy for the ferry and is also beautiful. We had an evening meal which was excellent, we were very well looked after and felt right at home and relaxed immediately. We would come back again to this property.

Parking off gravel for motorbikes would be great but we had a lovely secluded spot for our bikes and it was just a bit tricky to get to it as they are large 1250cc motorbikes x 2, this did not spoil our trip at all.

We did not stay and have breakfast as we were off to catch an early ferry. However we did have a brilliant evening meal which was not expensive considering the options available and the drinks and wines were also excellent value. The staff greeted us at reception spoke excellent English and then showed us to our room. Evening meals were from 7-30 pm and we were again well catered for and looked after incredibly well. It is about 15 minutes by car to the ferry terminal in Dieppe along very quiet roads. It is a nice rural retreat in a very quiet setting to spend an overnight as we did.

Not a great deal we didn't like in all honesty, plenty of good private parking, excellent reception by the owner. The room we had was on the ground floor which was large as was the bed which was very comfortable. There was a kettle and coffee and tea options but no milk, fortunately we had some in the car and didn't therefore ask at reception although I am sure they would have provided some. The bathroom had a large walk in shower with plenty of hot water.

A quaint old chateau , close to Dieppe ferry port , the ladies that looked after us at the hotel and in the restaurant were wonderful. The pictures don't do this place justice . The rooms are large airy and comfortable, the staff made sure your stay was as pleasant as possible

The property is beautiful and in an ideal location for a stop over being 2hrs from Le Shuttle. The rolls are clean and spacious with plenty of parking. There is. Restaurant which offered an outstanding three course menu for 32 euros and a great wine selection. The owner was extremely helpful.

Location was amazing, staff was very friendly. We had a lovely stay. There's a huge garden outside and the hotel is situated in a lovely old chateau.

There was some noise at night, presumably creaking from the old plumbing, but I think it's a small price to pay for sleeping in such a lovely location.

Lovely historic, peaceful location with a walled garden which made it very relaxing. Definitely an experience of a more unusual hotel. The evening meal was also very good.

Unfortunately, the occupiers of the room before us had been smoking (in spite of the no smoking signs) and our room smelt as such. The owner/manager was however very understanding and did her best to compensate us for the issue.

Magnificent 16th century manor house. Perfect place to stay to break the journey from NewHaven to Dieppe on the ferry. 15mins away from Dieppe, peaceful countryside. Mdm Duplessis is a perfect host. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommended.
