It is a hotel particulier that has been wonderfully renovated, 5 minutes away from the Papal Palace. The rooms have been furnished in a delicate French countryside style, with taste and elegance. All the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms have been refurbished recently with modern lighting. The owners are welcoming and friendly, open for a chat and flexible. The breakfast is a wonderful moment: fresh bread and pastries from the local bakery, cheese and homemade yoghurts, homemade marmelade and jams, organic fresh juice from a local orchard farm. We stayed only two nights but wished we could have stayed much longer! We will always go there from now on!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this centrally located place, greatly enhanced by the excellent breakfast provided. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring a wide array of choices from fresh pastries and fruits to hot, savory dishes. Everything was delicious and well-prepared, providing a perfect start to our day. The hotel's central location made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city's main attractions, shopping, and dining options, all within easy walking distance. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our brief visit smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking quality accommodations in the heart of the city, especially if you're pressed for time but want to experience the best of the area.

Historic building with lots of character in an excellent location in the medieval city - away from the tourist hot spots but a very short walk to shops and restaurants. The room was very spacious with a modern en suite shower room, large comfortable double bed and table and chairs. The high ceilings and narrow shady street kept it cool. Breakfast was with other guests with local and homemade produce. The rooms are part of the family home and the host was very helpful.

Nothing, it was great!

If you enjoy history you’ll enjoy your stay in this historic house in the historical part of Avignon. Anne Lise is a friendly and helpful host, with good recommendations for places to visit nearby. The breakfast with homemade jams, yoghurt, croissants and fruit including the most delicious strawberries was an excellent start to the day and our room was clean and comfortable. All the main attractions are within easy walking distance and there are good restaurants, wine bars and historical sights very close by.

The host, Anna-Lise is a charming, helpful lady who made us feel comfortable. The location is fabulous, right in the centre where we could walk to the main attractions. The historic building/ home and its features was fascinating to be in.

I needed access to tea making facilities and even though our host agreed to me using her personal kitchen, it wasn't appropriate to be there after hours/ early morning. The toilet was incredibly cramped and the bed very close to the floor. I think bed linen could be updated, although it was very clean.

The house seemed exactly what we expected for an archetypal old family house in the old city centre. Very high beautiful eighteenth century moulded plaster ceilings, original shutters and furniture, very comfortable and large double bed. The thick walls and shuttered windows meant we really did not need the AC. Breakfast was the usual fruit and pastries, but with home-made preserves. Our host was charming and welcoming. Her English was pretty good too, although she needlessly apologised for having poor command of our language. Certainly 1000% better than my French! We had been warned that Avignon would be heaving with tourists, but it really was not. A delightful town with plenty to do.

Really nothing at all

The room is located in a historic building and the room we stayed in is spacious, very well-decorated, and clean. The room is in an apartment flat where you share the common areas with other guests and we had a wonderful breakfast all together in the lovely kitchen around a huge table. We felt at home; having a delicious homemade fresh breakfast and meeting with new people all around the world were a memorable experience. The hosts are wonderful people and I highly recommend.

Have you ever wanted to stay in a French apartment like the ones you see in the movies? This is your chance. Beautifully appointed room in a B and B in the center of Avignon, with old-world charm and a modern bathroom. The host, Anna-Lise, was very gracious and served up delicious continental breakfasts and local restaurant recommendations. The Palais des Papes and other attractions are within easy walking distance, as was the central train station for side trips to other towns. Would stay here again!

This is a classic family-run B&B in very central Avignon, just blocks from the Pope's Palace. The location is the best feature, but it was also nice to stay with a family and other guests who could provide travel tips and vice versa. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It was possible to leave our luggage there after check-out on our last day so we could do more touring unburdened, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks, Anna-Lise!
