Great central location Very cute balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast and some afternoon snacks Staff were friendly and helpful Room was spacious and clean Bed was comfortable

Being close to the town centre it did get a bit noisy in the mornings when everyone was waking up and kids were going to school! But that's only a minor issue compared to all the other benefits. Also parking is available at €16 overnight (after 20% discount from hotel) but like most carparks in France, it is tight for large cars! But convenience of having a carpark so close and in that location outweighs the negative!

Excellent location, right next to Palais des Papes, just a 2 minute walk from the parking. Staff were super helpful and check in was swift. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The was a great choice at breakfast, I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

The directions given to me to enter into the GPS couldn’t be found on my GPS, however we did stop and ask somebody and found the parking, the fridge in our room wasn’t working but as we only stayed one night we were not that bothered.

The location was excellent. Right in the middle of the city. Nice room with a balcony and a view over the square. Excellent air conditioning...if a little noisy!

There was no communal area. This would have been really useful in the evening and daytime. Had I known I would probably have stayed at the other Mercure in the city. However, it looks as this is being rectified by work being done.

The location was perfect. The rooms were very clean and we appreciated the complimentary bottles of water in the refrigerators. The magnifying mirror and the light in the bathroom was very good. We also liked the reading lamps beside the beds and the big TV screens. Stephanie and Salem were thoughtful to allocate to us two quiet side by side bedrooms on the fifth floor. They were nice to us and our children. We liked the fresh orange juice machine at breakfast.

Location is very good near the Palais du Pape , near good restaurant and museum of Avignon , shop are very closed . The room I had ,was spacious and clean and Bathroom. Because I was in the Center of Avignon we can hear people on the streets and music but stop later in the night. Breakfast was good , fruit ,yogurt,croissants and more if you want it.

First I was in small room ,I did not like it and very kindly the reception Lady change my room.

Excellent location right in the heart of the city. Extremely convenient if you have a car- we did. A parking structure near by- worry free parking in an old city. And hotel validated giving us 20 percent off on parking fees. Clean, good size rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent location. Lovely staff. 20m from the main square with lots of eating choices and right next to the Palais du Papes.

location location location! This hotel is located near everything you need to do! Avignon was beautiful!

There were no problems!

Right next to Palais de Papas - cannot ask for a better location. While the area gets quite noisy, we were amazed to find that the windows worked really well for blocking out the noise. Comfortable room and bed. Staff were super helpful and friendly, especially with accommodating our request to have a room at the higher floor (5th).

The bathroom has a good size, but the toilet in our room was place at an odd spot and using it was not super convenient. Nothing else.
