The location was amazing ( city centre) , short walk to all the picturesque places. Spent 2 romantic nights here. The breakfast was good. Friendly owners. French balconies. Finally, a lovely view from our room.

No lift, just a staircase.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my needs. The location is perfect, great to be able to call back during the day as necessary. The manager is very friendly and helpful - he carried my heavy case up to my room on the second floor. My room had a great view over Grand Hommes. It was super clean with a lovely en suite. (Some other reviews mention the tojlets - they are macerator toilets - efficient but noisy) The temperature rose to over 40° while I was there but I slept well in a comfy bed. There were shutters, double glazed windows and curtains to allow me to shut out the sun during the day, and to allow a breathe of air at night. The room had 4 sockets, one for the fan, one for the desk lamp and one either side of the bed. There were also 2 USB sockets. Breakfast was very good in a pleasant room on the first floor. I only read the reviews after I had booked and did wonder if I had made a mistake, but no, it was perfect for my needs and I will definitely hope to stay here again. Just before I left for my hotel I was back on booking.com website checking something when I noticed that the same room type/dates were available for 100€ less!

Staff always available very plesant The room and hotel were exceptionally clean Location excellent in the centre of everything but quiet with a lovely window to open onto the street We enjoyed the continental breakfast which was much better than expected with good coffee juice freshly boiled eggs ,fruut yogurt and pastries.they had gluten free bread for me also Bed comfortable.

Rooms small but had expected that ,they had everything needed Shower tight but good hot water. Sound proofing poor .it was not noisy but could hear tap turned on from room next door .there was very little noise from outside

The location was excellent, breakfast was delicious, room was very clean and the manager was very helpful.

There is no air conditioning and although my double room was small, there was no view from the window on the inner court. Was worried that it might not be safe with the window open at night, as it can easily open widely, in the end had to open it as it was hot even with the fan on. There was one the table lamp in the bedroom, but was fine.

The location was perfect, very central in the old town. The breakfast was good value. Stephan the manager was very friendly and helpful. There's a carpark very close to the hotel. The room was very clean, it's small but perfectly adequate for a city break.

The bathroom had a strange bi-fold door that could only be shut by someone else! A normal door would have been better. The shower head didn't fit into the attachment on the wall.

Everything was great. The location is great and really close to all the attractions. The room itself is small but very clean and tidy. Breakfast was also great value for money with a variety of pastries, pancakes, everything that is needed to make a sandwich, coffee, juice and more. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, thank you so much for our stay! :)

The location was perfect and convenient, I was exploring for hours but could easily go back to rest. The breakfast was incredible. The owner was very nice and helpful, he went above and beyond with services. I definitely recommend!

I didn't mind but the room are a bit small, we had huge luggage and that can be tricky in such a small space.

We hadn’t planned on eating there but we did on our first day and kept coming back. Well-rounded selections, fruit, yogurt, fresh juice AND great croissants what more could you want in France or any other country! Also great coffee from a reliable machine!

Weather was 101 degrees while we were there - but hosts provided a fan. Climate change is global but the cleanliness of room and responsiveness of hosts made us forget the warmth!

Breakfast was a really nice continental buffet, delicious ham! Lovely old hotel, in a fabulous location, in the center of old town Bordeaux. Very expensive shops all around! Fabulous choice of restaurants.

The ONLY thing we didn’t like was the bathroom. Positively dangerous with steps out of the room right in front of the toilet! No privacy at all, as it was a sliding door. No extractor fan or window in there.
