A very nice stay. The hotel is an old building build around a courtyard. 6 of us stayed in 3 x twin rooms and all rooms were of a good size and standard. Beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect and a short walk from bars, cafe's and sights. The staff were the main selling point however, they covered off our every question and need. The home made breakfast is also worth it with home made brioche and bread, cakes (about 3), cereals, jams, pastries, yoghurts etc etc..

I'm being very petty but the location of a TV on the bedroom wall in one of the rooms wasn't the best place.

Rooms are luxurious and quite large. Lovely bedding and relaxing lighting. Location was great- staff recommended excellent restaurants and sights to see. It really is a lovely hotel.

I thought the breakfast was overpriced and disappointing as far as generosity and choice. It would not take much effort for the hotel to offer a couple of warm dishes - such as scrambled eggs and bacon. Breakfast consisted of a few bits of cheese, a bit of salami, cakes, one croissant per person, and cold boiled eggs (but be quick because when we arrived at breakfast there was only only left), The staff on duty did not seem to care about the noise in tjr kitchen area behind the breakfast room.

The location was perfect - quiet street but with few bars and restaurants on, just a short stroll from the city. The building itself was old and full of character, with interesting rooms and lay out. The breakfast had a small selection but had everything you needed, and all very fresh. The croissants were delivered hot and fresh every morning. Lovely. The best bit was probably the staff, including the manager / owner. They were so welcoming and very friendly. We had a slight panic when our flight home was cancelled but they sorted us out with extra nights no problem and helped us feel relaxed and well cared for.

Our room was fine as the walls were white so was bright. But my mum and sister said their room ( with red walls) was very dark with poor lighting. Only a minor thing.

The hotel location was ideal less then 7 minutes walking and you were central. The staff were just amazing I couldn't praise them enough, they were very knowledgeable, had excellent English, and were unbelievably kind. They went above and beyond for both myself and my mother to make our stay enjoyable. When checking checking out we were given cold bottles of water as the weather was very hot. We throughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend this hotel and will visit it again.

A warm welcome. Personal attention from all of the staff who were very attentive and proud to give good service. English very good; Much better than our French. Good variety of breakfast offerings. Located in a narrow quiet street yet close to many restaurants, shopping streets and parks.

Perhaps the lack of lift but we got by, up two floors. Otherwise, nothing.

Small hotel on quiet side road off central street. Very pleasant. Room had large double bed and comfortable pillows, exactly what we needed after full day driving. Well surprised with CLARINS toiletries, even had a shower cap! (very useful). Receptionist was very welcoming and found for us great nearby wine bar for tasting that famous Bordeaux wine! Nespresso coffee machine in the room - nice! (needs milk in the fridge though).

Receptionist at night of check-in said that we have to try their breakfast! We kinda assumed its included. So In the morning at 10:07 we thought we are too late but when called, receptionist invited us to come. There was continental options available. When asked for hot eggs, we were told no, as we are too late. Fair enough. When we had to pay our bill, breakfast at 27 Euro was added. Quite extortionate, when I had piece of fruit and a coffee :( Shower needs fixing in room 15 - leaking everywhere when used the rain head. Red carpet needs better cleaning. Otherwise, all good!

Amaizingly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are perfectly clean, and the breakfasts are fresh and very tasty. Perfect location, a few minutes walk to the center. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux and I myself will definitely be happy to return to this place.

Great receptionist upon arrival gave good recommendations for restaurants space for your suitcase Small room#30 the toilet is very narrow and toilet seat loose. No space for your suitcase in room Quiet when windows are closed. Super croissants 😃

Very helpful staff, lovely spacious room into a small courtyard. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice and good coffee. This place is really well situated in a great area for food and drink. Will definitely come back and stay here again for a longer stay.

We stayed on the top floor, with a very nice sized room, a very comfortable bed with a good size bathroom. It had all the amenities in the room that we could need and it was in a great location... about a 10 walk to downtown were all the action is. Around the corner there are several restaurants to explore as well. The staff are very kind and will help you with luggage

There is no elevator, but the staff arranged for our luggage to be sent up.
