Location was great, quiet and out of the city centre which we wanted. Superb transport links, tram (every 20 min) and bus routes direct into the city. Bikes could be hired at the tram-stop, 1.70 euro for the day and 7.70 euros for a week - amazing value! Very quiet area but range of eating restaurants nearby, although we highly recommend on-site Ibis restaurant, food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Such a dog-friendly hotel - our dog could accompany us anywhere in the hotel complex. The facilities were excellent, large walk in shower in spacious room with fully working air-conditioning.

Only one towel per person provided and these were rather thin and small!

Easy to find, an ideal location for us. A friendly welcome at reception. Very simple to check-in, everything as expected. Disabled parking available in secure lock up car park, with easy step free access to the reception. A large comfortable room, with air conditioning. The bed was super comfortable we really slept well. A good supply of towels. The breakfast as always was excellent. Freshly squeezed orange juice , and selection of breads , pastries, yoghurt, cheese, and ham - accompanied by teas coffees or cuppachino as desired. Really Excellent. There is a good choice of places to eat in easy walking distance, or in the hotel restaurant. Later in the night we enjoyed a nightcap cocktail in the lounge area. The barman was very friendly and experienced. It was very easy to visit the Cathedral (St Andrews) from our location which is definitely not to be missed.

We do not like the paper cups in the bathroom and room. I always need water next to the bedside at night, and the cardboard melted and the water leaked out on my medication. Proper glasses to drink from would be better. Otherwise, everything perfect for us.

Room 128 was bigger than anticipated. Food at the Courtpaille was better than reviews suggested. Good value 3 course evening meal including a drink for 23 euros. Parking had a gated access. Checkin and out was easy. Staff were helpful, huge thanks to the reception member who this morning, called Assistance for our car, which had broken down and wouldnt start. For us, the hotel cat and outdoor hens brought a smile when we were stressed and hot. The very best thing was that the room and building were air conditioned, its the hottest May day on record. Very short walk to Expo buildings and tram stops. We would return and recommend for its category.

Room keys, both needed to be updated by admin twice. Shower no grab rail and footing very slippery when wet. Needs addressing. We asked for a ground floor quiet room which was given, however, the room occupant above us made lots of noise when moving around, so we would ask for a top floor room next time. Soundproofing not brilliant.

Great location, close to the tram stop and reservoir. We easily parked our car in the hotel's car park and went to town by tram. The reservoir is next to the hotel and a great place to go for a run or walk. Friendly staff. Good size bathroom end bedroom.

There's no water bottle or hot drinks in the room. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as I find €12 per person a bit dear.

The accommodation exceeded my expectations. from secure parking, reception with a wonderful bar and an area with chairs where you can relax in peace. It will certainly be a hotel I will return to. I recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and easy access environment.

I missed a freezer. I took water believing I could conserve it, but unfortunately there was none. On the other hand, the air conditioning made me comfortable and I didn't suffer with the price.

The hotel is fresh and modern downstairs with a nice bar and grill restaurant onsite, but the rooms are a bit basic, which is expected. The staff were friendly and great with our dog. There is a lake next door to walk around and good public transport into the centre.

Great staff, helpful, I tried to speak French but they helped me out by answering in English. Great location, tram opposite with service every 10 mins into centre.

No tea and coffee in room but that's not unusual in France. Had to buy coffee every time in bar

This hotel is perfect for a quick stop in Bordeaux, close to the highway access, gas station, restaurants... Its private parking is really safe and has a lot of spots. The bedroom is huge and the giant tv is definitey a bonus. All the staff was really helpful, congratulations.

The toilet in the bedroom was far too low down. I had to take the chair from the room to help pull up on. The lowest toilet I have ever seen in a hotel. No good for anyone with joint problems.

Convenient location for travelling to and from Spain. Loved that it is dog friendly even in the restaurant so we could have breakfast before leaving. Comfortable and clean. Also thought the hotel cat was very cute!

Nothing really. The breakfast seemed a little expensive but there was a good selection.
