The property is well situated and is about 10 min from Mont Saint Michel. The property itself is from the 16th century and contains the original woodwork and stair railings. It has been lovingly updated with a completely modern and spacious bathroom. The rooms are of reasonable size and are charming. The staff was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. There is a two person elevator to help get your luggage to the room.

Everything was wonderful except the walls are a little thin with little soundproofing so you can sometimes hear people talking in the adjacent room if they are talking or laughing a little loudly.

Very nice newly renovated hotel. Rooms were very pretty, with new air conditioner. The bed was comfortable, with two pillows. Another nice thing was that in each room there is a Nespresso machine with coffee capsules! We also got a free room upgrade!

The only thing is that it's a bit far from the city centre but it's near the airport and the Lac. The other thing is that because of the Lac and its mosquitos you can't open the window. And another thing was that the soundproofing could be better as you can hear the corridor and the surrounding rooms.

Clean room, lots of good parking (secure) and excellent air-con!

We were told breakfast was served until 10am but when we went to the dining room at 9.45am there was hardly anything left and we had to request more milk and bread. The staff member was a bit surly and took ages, which we thought was odd. I mentioned this at reception and was told it was because breakfast was served until 9.30am Monday to Friday. The receptionist apologised for the incorrect information we had been given. An honest mistake.

Very good breakfast and service all around. Location is excellent overall and good value, although not downtown, which was not necessary for us. Staff did well overall. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but very good all around, which is great!

"New" style showers with open door are absolutely horrible. Water gets everywhere no matter what you do. Other than that, great. I think nothing was really off. Can't think of anything else. Staff did a fine job.

The hotel has a secure car park and good security on the front door at night requiring a 4 digit access code. The room was clean, not big but OK for a night or two. The bathroom was also clean and had a bath tub as well as a shower AND they gave you a sachet of bath salts as well. There was adequate choice from the dinner menu at a reasonable price and was good value when compared to other local restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with a good buffet selection available. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

I had a pleasant stay during a conference stay in Bordeaux in the hotel. Staff were very kind and supportive. Overall good stay for the price.

The room I stayed in was somewhat interesting as it had upper floor with an extra bed to which one would need to climb the ladder, which was just moved away. This made the room with slightly less space and I wish it was a bit more spacious to allow to put luggage bag somewhere. I had the room services however didn't get the coffee pods/sugar restocked.

Great location near to Bordeaux. Tram in easy walking distance to travel into Bordeaux. Room in very good decoration. Shower hot and powerful. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Easy to communicate with the reception who spoke good English. Plenty of parking and able to leave my car there while I travelled into Bordeaux.

Nothing to dislike, I would definitely book again.

Room (400) needed a few things fixing. Missing bedside light, toilet flusher loose on wall, sink plug not working correctly. Extra bed in our double room which limited our space resulting in us hitting our shins against the legs which protruded wider than mattress width.

Very good hotel with reasonable price. Freshly renovated quite big rooms. Clean. Nice bathroom. Internet connection worked fine. Very big free parking. Good breakfast with wide variety of dishes. Hotel is very good commuted with city center by tram. Nice lake nearby hotel and good restaurant. Very nice and helpful staff.

The staff were amazing and the majority spoke English which was a blessing as I’m ashamed at how basic my French is. This morning on checkout, my car battery was flat and they offered to drive me to a nearby garage to buy jump cables, luckily another member of staff had some and they used their car to assist me.
