Brilliant location, close to airport bus stop and the old city. Good access by car. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended for a short stay.

There was not much space for clothes for a longer stay. Hanging space near the room door meant that clothes had to be pushed out the way of the door and the desk was fitted with fake drawers. The room did not feel too cramped, and the bathroom was good. It was just not the most effective way of using the space available. Security too could be improved.

Excellent location for accessing the old walled city of Carcassonne - well within walking distance even for us oldies! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor with patio doors opening onto the swimming pool area which would have been wonderful and the weather boon slightly warmer! The breakfast room was slightly on the small side because when the tables were full, we got in each others way a bit but it wasn't a serious issue - the quality of the breakfast items made up for it ! There was always plenty of food and should any item run out it was quickly replenished. All in all we had a most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel

There wasn't a bar in the hotel but there was a very good one directly opposite so, again, not a problem!

Very clean. The staff was excellent. They were very helpful and friendly with a number of issues we came to them about (information about shuttles, information about the nearby castle, shopping, etc), and they were able to provide me with a spare electrical adapter after I lost mine. And their attentiveness at the self-serve breakfast made our family feel very well accommodated (reserved seating and nice linen and cutlery and all that, with multiple workers available for anything we might need). Also the food at breakfast was excellent. Fresh delicious ingredients (for example, I don’t think I have ever tasted such delicious cantaloupe in a continental breakfast--usually hard and bland at buffets, and the meat and cheeses were great). Also, the location is amazing for being so close to the castle. Not all the rooms probably had as great of a view as ours, but we really enjoyed our view. And either way, the walk up the little hill to the castle was fairly short and easy, even for my mother-in-law who uses a cane. Wonderful experience. Great value. It is an older building, but the things that mattered to us were updated nicely (showers, beds, etc).

I don't have any major complaints. But things to note: The swimming pool is nice, but not heated. I took a dip with my kids, because they are willing to freeze to have some fun. In mid-September it was just barely tolerable for a short amount of swimming, but you have to be ready for a very brisk swim, because by this time of year it is shaded lost of the day. The room key was attached to a very bulky object which I'm sure is meant to ensure you don't lose it. But it's too bulky to comfortably put in my pocket (so I slid the key off when we went out, because I am capable of not losing a key, even without a huge knobby thing attached to it). Like I said, no major complaints.

Great location to visit La Cite medieval 5 mins walk. Great to have a pool as was still very hot in September. Really good breakfast offered - worth taking up! Staff very friendly and helpful. Chilled and relaxed atmosphere. People from around the world, mainly staying a few days or overnight. 20 euros by taxi - pre booking advised or 6 euros on shuttle bus from airport

It would have been nice to have drink-making facilities in the room. Also a bar/dining facilities as only breakfast available. However, La Rapiere directly opposite is a great place to eat and drink with indoor and outdoor seating, good quality reasonably priced food and friendly staff.

This hotel was clean, and well air conditioned in a fantastic location just outside the old city walls. It had a lovely pool which kept the sun better than we had thought it might from the pictures. The family rooms were well set out with a curtain between the double bed in the main room and bunk beds in an alcove. It was a lovely quiet location with easy parking for our large car.

Breakfast was a little pricey. We were leaving early and so bought a quick croissant elsewhere but maybe if you had time to enjoy the buffet it would have been worth the money. There weren't really enough loungers around the pool - but we arrived very late in the afternoon and too many loungers would have made the area crowded. So I guess our advice would be to get down there early if you want to secure a place to sit after a day in the heat soaking up the castle.

Fantastic location right near the walled city though it's quite a walk from the train station and about a €10 taxi ride. That said, the entrance to the ramparts is almost literally outside the hotel's door, so from a location perspective this was an excellent choice. Some staff very friendly, others less so. I'm used to European hotel rooms but even then this room was quite small - on the other hand, the bathroom was enormous, relatively speaking. Felt totally safe, room was very clean, and despite high heat (100 F) the A/C held up well.

A small note but a real inconvenience: I'd asked the hotel to double check that the taxi would accept credit cards, and they said they did, but the driver said only above €15. For me this was a real problem as I had lost my bank card and had very limited cash, and I wish the hotel staff had been more careful in advising me (or said they didn't know and I would have to find out myself).

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, right on the doorstep to Carcassonne old city, and it was great to have a pool to jump into at the end of a long drive. There is a small car park which is great but it fills up and it's first come first serve so better to arrive early rather than later. We were only here for one night but we would definitely recommend it here.

There were too many mosquitos by the pool, so unfortunately we couldn't spend long sitting by it. The beds had duvets on which seems odd midsummer, so it was a juggling act between the Aircon and the duvet at night. A little fridge would have been good to put things in, especially when travelling in August.

Great location right beside Carcassonne old town only a short stroll up the street. Not many hotels have large family rooms - the Aragon family room takes 5 which suited us perfectly with 3 kids. Good value given we only had to book 1 room for our family. Pool is a nice bonus to cool off after wandering around the crowded old town. Nice view of the old town from our room. Parking included. Everything clean and kept well.

Basic enough accommodation (but adequate, and what you'd expect for 3-star) - beds weren't particularly comfy, just OK, and air-con very noisy.

Lovely rooms, excellent air conditioning, comfortable bed and great shower. The pool area is very nice and welcome after walking around the city for a few hours. The location of the hotel is fantastic, you are two minutes walk from the medieval city. Breakfast was decent.

The lack of a bar is a glaring omission. With that lovely pool area, being able to relax poolside with a cold drink would have really made our stay exceptional. If not then perhaps a mini bar/fridge in the rooms! Some additional hot choices for breakfast other than boiled eggs would have been nice.

The location was excellent. It was only a 3 minute walk to the medieval walls of Carcassonne. The hotel has it's own private pool and numerous sun loungers to relax on.

The lack of a fridge in the room was a big issue for me. Personal items could be stored in the main fridge of the hotel, but that necessitated handing over the items at the front desk and then getting a member of staff to retrieve them from the kitchen every time they were required. A note pad and pen in the bedrooms would also be a welcome touch.
