Champagne tasting was superb. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food and drink. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and were very patient with my attempts to speak French. It was also good to meet other guests from France, Belgium and Germany. The village setting is lovely and has a nice square with a few cafes and bars. Rooms were spotless and bottled water and chocolates were provided each night. Also secure parking behind electric gates was a bonus. I cant fault anything. 100%

Nothing this is a fantastic place to stay when exploring the Champagne region.

Odile was wonderful, we felt very special and were treated to a wonderful evening. We should have planned to stay a bit longer, Ay is very small, typically French and Epernay is close by and well worth a visit. The Champagne Sacret tasting was fabulous and the Charcuterie plate was enormous(and delicious!). We bought a couple of bottles of what were great value Champagne as memories to take back home. The room was lovely and the bar/breakfast area/lounge was all to ourselves, there was one other couple staying but we never saw them. The whole experience was magnificent and we will be back!

We loved everything!

A wonderful boutique hotel providing a quiet sanctuary away from the busy town of Epernay. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant; Odile rates a very special mention, nothing was too much trouble. Champagne tastings were provided to in house guests, breakfast was delicious and rooms were exceptionally well presented. Thank you James, Odile and staff we hope to see you again on a future visit.

We got a very warm welcome and free wine tasting the night we arrived .We loved our room and also the lovely terrace which we were able to sit out in the evenings ,also the lounge was lovely .We liked the honesty box so we could help ourselves to drinks in the evening .Also Odile booked us a welcome plate , a sharing board for the night of our arrival and for our last night she booked a local restaurant Avarum which was great .We parked our car on arrival and used our electric bikes for the whole of our stay .All in all a very special stay !

Recommendation and pre - booking of local restaurant for evening meal in advance by host much appreciated. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of fresh local ingredients.

Found one-way system to Hotel difficult to navigate initially

What a lovely property within the middle of Ay. We didn’t have much time to look around but the bit of the local centre was lovely. Very near to Epernay. We did their champagne tasting and had a few glasses of their family champagne. The breakfast was really nice and the honesty bar was great after we got back from dinner. Bedrooms and bathrooms good sized and with clarins products, nespresso and a chocolate!!

Excellent accommodation in a small Champagne House. Free tasting as part of the stay. On site parking. Comfortable lounge. Good breakfast. Close to Epernay.

Ay has only two main restaurants- one of which was closed and other had been fully booked. Staff had told us of restaurants in advance and potential need to book. In the end we found small pizza place that was basic but with good food and service.

Excellent Place! The four rooms were very nice and clean. The service from Odile was great and very personal. She memorized our names on arrival and took very good care of us. The breakfast very good and the concept of a plate with cold food plus champagne to eat in the “living room” can be highly recommended. Odile also offered free of charge champagne tastings on our two evenings. Their different champagnes were great and for a good price. Can highly recommend this place! We will come back!

Lovely Champagne house with large, well furnished rooms and new bathrooms. The main delight was the happy service provided by Odile, from the moment we arrived (helping us reverse into the courtyard) to serving us some really good house champagne (included!) and calling us to say we’d left a scarf in our room. Breakfast was perfect. We’ll return.
