I loved having the kitchenette. Size of the room and bathroom was great.

While it was advertised as a non-smoking hotel, there was a heavy smell of cigarette smoke on my floor. When people stood outside the lobby (on the sidewalk) to smoke, I could smell smoke in my room (with window open). The staff only said there was nothing they could do. To have an effective non-smoking policy, requires a means to enforce it.

This location is perfect! A couple minutes from the river, the tram, main shops & squares... you couldn't wish for a better location. Pricing was extremely reasonable, especially compared to other properties. You get a small fridge, a stove, microwave, lots of cutlery etc -- really enough to be self-sufficient for quite a long time. The room is spacious, bright with big windows which open so you have a pseudo "balcony". The bed & pillows are comfy, the shower water pressure was great. Staff were friendly, and entering the building was simple (through a code) after 9pm. A perfect stay, honestly!

If you're thinking about parking your car at the hotel, definitely request it as soon as you book -- they don't have enough space for everyone. We parked at the Esplanade parking (which is 10 minutes walking from the hotel and is completely free, just non-monitored -- definitely worth it if you don't leave any valuables in your car).

Room was large and spacious. The small table and chairs were good as was the mini kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and as there were no comfy chairs we spent a lot of time there.

Shower head and the fact it was in a bath a mat would have helped, a couple of comfy chairs would have been appreciated

The location is perfect to be in the middle of the city. A short term parking space is available in front of the Residence. The Residence has an attractive arrangement with a nearby closed public parking. Furthermore, for EV owners, the car park has charging capability - slow but ok if you plan properly. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped and spacious enough knowing this can be an issue in France. The room we had (behind the elevator) was very well sound insulated. No real outside noises could be heard. Its window faces an inner court away from traffic. The bathroom is spacious. Heating system worked well. We opted for no room cleaning during our 4 day stay. Makes it easier to avoid the visits of the cleaning staff.

The biggest sad part is the furniture which is really outdated and worn out. If this would be renewed the rating would be very high. However we knew it would be the case reading other reviews so it was no surprise, but still a pity not to have them renewed yet. The shower in a bathtub is somewhat less comfortable. A shower would be much better. The water tap in the sink was full of calcium deposits and spraying erratically. Needs cleaning. Warm water is extremely hot - it allows sufficient quantity of warm water for several persons but can be dangerous if one doesn't pay attention.

Location near the center and the river. Convenient parking nearby. Clean room, simply decorated with everything needed. I like to have the small kitchen. Great breakfast selection and nice atmosphere. Special mention to the reception Alina, very helpful and welcoming.

The bed was not very comfortable

Big, clean rooms with very comfortable and large beds. Basic kitchen facilities. Toilet separate from bathroom. Close to gondola. Lift and stairs. Floor was not creaky.

Basic and plain compared to some other places, but nothing wrong with it for the price.

The kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery were a little greasy/grubby. Somewhat expected when you are relying on others to wash the dishes though (no dishwasher).

The location of the hotel is great.. The metro line is nearby. It is in the city centre.

The cleanliness was not good. I found some hairs in the bed sheet... So that was not clean. Towels were so so.

Central location, spacious room, double aspect windows, view of city and mountains, clean, good breakfast and friendly staff. Price v good value

Decor a little dated but was not an issue as everything was clean.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, very close to tram stop. Heating works well (it was very cold outside)! Small kitchen corner is sufficiently equipped.

The equipment is not very new and somehow used but still OK. There is no possibility to live luggage during midday break of the reception.
