Room very clean, good size and all that we needed. Plentiful towels and comfortable bed. Mini fridge, tea and coffee in room all good. Pool and spa was good. Peaceful location. Restaurant pleasant. Simple menu, good quality. Easy to get to airport and centre of town.

Breakfast was expensive for what it was. Same Bowl of fruit salad for 2 days which wasn't refreshed. Same with the yoghurts., same selection each day and not replenished. No croissants! Top step on the pool ladder was missing so getting in and out of the pool was a challenge. No sign alerting you to this either which was alarming. Sauna and steam room very good.

Nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of character! There is a faded elegance about the place but it still offered a sense of something a bit different. We chose this place to avoid the noisy and busy tourist spot of La Rochelle, wanting somewhere quiet after a long drive, and we weren't disappointed. The suite was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a pleasant garden view on the ground floor. Also good to have a full restaurant with a pleasing but very reasonably priced menu. The restaurant staff member was excellent. The heated indoor pool was a bonus! Easy parking. For a one night stopover it ticked all the boxes.

Spacious room and super comfy bedding. Good size bathroom with extra large sink. The heated towel rack is a good add. Onsite facilities like swimming pool and sauna room. Bathrobe and slippers are included. The reception team speaks very well in English.

A little bit out from La Rochelle, about 12 min drive. Reception only opens from 4pm. Don't try to check in before that time. Needs more attention in the landscaping to make the whole place more presentable.

Loved the old charm . Fantastic bedroom ,bath in bedroom with beautiful sink . Chef was lovely and lovely breakfast .

I did not like the tables where we eaten off from the main beautiful restruant they need to have a little tsble cloth over them .. restraunt it self if beautuful . Lady at check out ordered a taxi for us to airport early morning and it arrived in time .We will come back .lovely for a stop over or rest .

We had a beautiful spacious room with a comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in each room. The pool was very relaxing and a lovely temperature. The hotel was peaceful and beautifully decorated. We had a delicious evening meal in the bar and a lovely breakfast the following morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

we were unable to get a taxi to the city centre in the afternoon, this was the only down side to our stay.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a great variety and the eggs were the best I've ever eaten. The staff were friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. The hotel was lovely and we really enjoyed our swim in the pool. The hotel had great parking facilities which was important for us. The rooms were spacious and charming but also modern. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

We couldn't get an English channel or the English language on the TV, but it wasn't a problem.

A good mixture between ancient exterior and modern interior.

Although the rooms seem pretty new - there is a ventilation problem in the bathroom and in the toilet which caused a smell and mold in the shower - should be improved. The breafast variation could be better in particular fresh fruits should be a standard in France (a fruit salad with three typ of fruits swimming in a lot of fruity fluid is not enough for a hotel of this category) AND a Hotel that carries "SPA" in it's name should have a regular SPA area:the pool is aged and needs some crucial touch ups and the steam bath is a catostrophy when is comes to optical appearance and to hygiene - no fresh water is available to hose the benches after usage ! I'm sorry to write such a long comment but this place has a true potential to provide a better standard !

We stayed in the Prestige room. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped with a small dining table, comfortable easy chairs, a beautiful shower room.and coffee making facilities. We took dinner which was excellent, The sea bass was cooked fantastically, and the bar man was welcoming and knowledgeable, in particular with the wine selection.

As described by other guests, it is a spacious room, very comfortable bed and bathroom. It was just a perfect little stop over on our way to the Netherlands. We also liked the breakfast and the dinner in the restaurant connected to the Hotel was also very nice. Great staff!

Nice hotel only 10 minutes drive to the harbour of La Rochelle. Room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental style.

Nowhere near to walk too but large hyper market 5 minutes drive away. Wasn’t impressed that a customer bought his dog not the restaurant area one evening.
