Very central location in the heart of beautiful La Rochelle. We stayed in family room/suite with a Beatles theme! The hotel is charming and the people who work there are lovely. The main bedroom had one enormous bed with a temporary bed for our youngest. Our other 2 children were in a bedroom off the main bedroom with 2 single beds. The property is a little dated but we would highly recommended. La Rochelle is a beautiful and very friendly town.

Nothing against the hotel but Google maps has the one way going the wrong direction on the street outside the hotel! It took us an extra hour of driving around medieval one way streets to finally figure out now to get our car to the hotel and the car park. Once we eventually figured it out how to get there we decided we were not going to use the car for the period of our stay in La Rochelle!

Brilliantly located for the city, nice hotel and excellent staff, very nice stay, breakfast was good, although considering we were in France surprised to not see croissants at breakfast. Family room was great size

Family room good size but upstairs area for children was extremely hot, although there were fans it could do with an extraction fan to remove the hot air trapped in this upstairs area,and thus pulling cool air from open window, but it was a hot day when we were there

Friendly and helpful staff, especially the guy working in the bar in the evening. The Location is so good! Right in the heart of the city, very close to Place de Verdun where the airport bus leaves you and walking distance to the beach. The breakfast was also very good, lots of delicious jams and good variety for a continental breakfast. Everything was very clean and in working order, it seems recently refurbished. There’s also a lovely little courtyard to have a drink in and some deckchairs on a little outdoor roof bit to relax on. Overall, it has a really nice atmosphere and it was surprisingly quiet given how central it is, we both slept well.

There’s no air conditioning! There is a dyson fan in each room but air on would be far preferable. The rooms are small but the location makes up for it.

The hotel was beautiful and clean and our room was a family suite. The beds were excellent and it was so handy to be able to pour the children in a bedroom. The staff weee excellent- friendly and helpful .

The only thing lacking was air conditioning. There was a fan in the room, but it was a very warm September evening and it was incredibly warm in the room.

Loved the breakfast.. buffet with a fair range of choice and good quality. The egg boiler was fun. The hotel is very centrally located and the decor is interesting. Staff were polite and friendly.

The hotel is difficult to find with Google maps and the streets around are one way and quite narrow. The directions from the hotel were OK so make sure you use them It's definitely worth paying for parking.

Staff - Amazingly friendly and helpful Location - Quiet street but short walk to the harbor and all the action Parking - Onsite, but reserve in advance! Details - Appreciated the jug of water. Very stylish decor.

No elevator. We managed without one, but be aware. No AC. But throwing the windows open cooled things down quickly in the evenings.

Fabulously modern and comfortable property in a historical building in the city‘s old town, walking distance from all main attractions. Extremely accommodating and genuinely friendly staff. Great breakfast, safe parking on site. Very good driving instructions on how to navigate the area for reaching the hotel.

The hotel is in the center. We have a very nice room with two floors. Exactly what we needed for travelling onwards. The breakfast was nice.

It is a bit hard to reach the hotel by car. Perhaps some driving instructions forwarded to the guests prior their arrival. We had to drive opposite through a one-way street in order to get to the hotel.

Great location, comfortable room and helpful staff - they even put a birthday cake in the fridge for us for a few hours!

A main reason we chose the hotel was that it had car parking available, however they were fully booked on the night we stayed and it quite a track to bring all our bags from the nearest public car park with space 10mins walk away. we should have booked it earlier - so warning to you should you need the car space! That and there is no lift and we had to carry our bags up to the top floor

Great comfy hotel modern great decor and breakfast was nice continental breakfast parking space was held for us on site which helps and a great place to visit.

Was all good really great funky modern hotel set in old charm good value in the heart of La Rochelle we will be back.
