The hotel is located at 10-15 min walking distance from la Rochelle old city. You can take the way through a park where you can see a small zoo garden. The property has several parking places which makes a big difference from other hotels advertised on Booking.com who have registered under facilities "Parking" but when you read the details you see that there is public parking nearby and reservation is not possible. @Booking.com please do not list Parking under hotel facilities if the place is not managed by the property. Finally, for the personnel at Central Park Hotel many thanks for their warm attitude.

The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming - the best hotel staff we have ever met. The bedroom was clean and in very good condition. All the general areas, like corridors, lounge, dining room, hallways and the gardens were clean and well cared for. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

I would have liked slippers to be provided, for non-spa customers, like us, a coffee machine in the bedroom, rather than instant granules (ugh!), more Lipton's yellow teabags for my husband and some fresh milk. The only other thing was that the shower tray was stained yellow and the grouting, near the shower tray needed to be repaired. During breakfast, there was a very shouty woman in charge, in the kitchen. Some of the young staff were nervous around her.

All the reception staff are very friendly, good fun and helpful. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed, large TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a decent shower. The location - immediately opposite the lovely park - and a 10 minute walk to the busy harbour is perfect as it allows you to visit and enjoy the buzz without being disturbed by it later on. The excellent breakfast buffet made the overall cost of the stay good value-for-money.

The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and the beds comfortable. the buffet breakfast was excellent. The quality of the food available was lovely, freshly squeezed orange juice was a bonus for me. Plenty of fresh bread, cheese, meats and various confitures. Overall excellent and the waitress was a delight!

We didn't feel that the room is cleaned thoroughly on all days of our stay. Only little things such as the coffee cups were not washed, the coffee sachets were not replenished and the bathroom sink surround was not cleaned.

There was everything you could want available for breakfast. There were lots of free extras in the room - bottled water, Nespresso coffee machine, manicure set, shower cap and excellent Rituals products. Being just 10 mins walk from the centre of La Rochelle. Very helpful, helpful Receptionists.

The parking was a little difficult to find but with GPS and hotel map we managed. It was not a problem once we got used to it.

Location very good - next to lovely park with animals to see, 5 mins walk from sandy beach & 10 mins from La Rochelle old town. Room & comfy bed & pillows. Breakfast excellent with great choice. Spa was very good! Reception staff helpful & nice.

Maybe could do with more staff helping with breakfast at busy times. But just a small issue. Breakfast was very good in general.

Our second stay here. Says it all! Friendly reception, same suite as last year: spacious, clean, comfortable 👌. For us, the perfect location. Ten minutes to the shops, restaurants and harbour. But surrounded by the park, you can also enjoy a rural walk. Across the road, there is the little Animal Park, and two minutes more, and you're at the little beach ⛱️ 😀 😎. Highly recommend the beach bar for snacks etc.

Everything was great! We booked the room with the terrasse and jacuzzi - the room was very big and we enjoyed having an outdoor space to relax. The jacuzzi is big and you can use it at your convenience so it truly was special. We also had a treatment at the spa, the experience was great and I would highly recommend staying there and enjoying the spa area.

One minor thing really was the checkout experience, where the invoice that was produced was not correct and then when presented with the total it was not clear what needed to be paid as I had already pre-booked via Bookings.com. However this was no trouble when explained and all was resolved quickly.

Hotel is conveniently situated 10 mins walk from bars/restaurants and marina. We were lucky enough to just get parked outside but there are parking facilities available for around 10euros a day 200 meteres away. Hotel staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area- and what a fantastic area La Rochelle is to visit. The room was compact, quite modern and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely use again - Thank you

We did not have a decent window in our room which in turn made the room feel smaller and I didn't want to spend any time in it other than just to sleep.

The sensorial shower was incredible! The tea room was nice place to wait for our appointment for massage, by the way, products used were divine, place itself lovely. I didnt want to leave. Vitorien, Maria and Clare were so professional, so friendly too.. The whole experience was delightful, highly recommend this hotel/spa.

The breakfast is a bit expensive.
