The best asset to this property is its staff, particularly Favien (Fabien?) in the restaurant. He is the quintessential hospitality professional. His warmth is genuine and his efficiency ensures the best experience. Overall the location was perfect for us; beside the motorway and also a wooded area for beauty. The hotel is very reasonably priced. The basic room is simple and clean, meeting needs for a night or two. The restaurant has a beautiful outlook beside the pool and a park. The food was excellent. The mattress was comfortable, the linens and pillow of decent quality. Very importantly for us as digital nomads, the Wifi was fast.

Location, parking right outside, big room, lovely comfortable king size bed. Big comfy pillows..Breakfast very good, plenty of everything. Good coffee (very important). Staff very welcoming and pleasant.

Unfortunately, the meal I had in the restaurant was awful.. fish & chips. The fish was cold with dark meat and the batter soggy. I couldn't eat it and refused to pay for it which was not disputed by staff. We have stayed here before and the meal in the restaurant was very good. In the room - TV could have been better if a good English language news channel was offered. The light in the bathroom was too low. A bathroom should have a brighter light. We would have preferred a walk-in shower- I should have asked for this, so my own fault. We both have mobility problems so it was a bit difficult getting in and out of the bath to shower. The hotel should have a bar close to reception area.

The exterior was a little worn and gave no hint that the interior was fresh, modern and attractive The restaurant was lovely even if the view of the pool was partially obscured by scaffolding. The food was good and well presented. The staff were excellent with the lady on reception able to assist us in our own language as we sadly we don’t have the same level of ability to speak French. Breakfast was good too. All was just right for us.

The toilet in our room was separated in a narrow closet from the rest of the lovely bathroom. It was difficult to see why it was separate,difficult to squeeze into and the door didn’t fit properly.

Extortionate price for one very small to stay in the room . 30 euros is really over charging. Have been travelling with my dog for many years and have stayed in many best western hotels- have never been charged so much. For this reason I won’t return to this particular hotel Food in the restaurant was also very costly for what it was

Nice and clean with very comfortable bed and pillows. Very close to the motorway. So great if you’re travelling onwards. Excellent if you have a dog due to all the walking areas surrounding the premises.

No bar which is a pity. We didn’t use the restaurant due to the menu being a bit extravagant. Nothing simple and quite expensive. Also the €30 for the dog is just a little bit steep compared to other places in France but I’ve stayed.

Large comfortable room, with a bath and a shower, a bath is always welcome after a long day of travel. The bed was extremely comfortable, and very soft comfortable pillows. Lovely garden area to exercise our dog.. Netflix and you Tube were available on the TV. Very welcome, especially for English people, was a kettle and tea and coffee.

I thought the evening meal in the restaurant was a bit pricey. The quality of the food was very good and cooked fresh. I had the vegetable Quinoa, and although tasty, it was a very small portion. We didn't have breakfast, as again pricey at €13 each.

The restaurant served great food and was very relaxed. It also allows dogs to come in which meant we did not lneed to leave our dog alone in a hotel bedroom.The grounds are wonderful particularly as we had our dog with us and it was good to have an area which was safe for him to walk and play in. The location is near the main road which is great for access but is still far enough away that the road noise does not interfere with enjoying the grounds.

Room was adequate. It had a seaparte toilet to the shower area which meant the toilet area was very small.

Dinner was freshly cooked to order and served in our room on trays. The food was good and service was prompt. The room was small but adequate and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent but a bit dingy.

We couldn't see how to adjust the room temperature or air con. There were no instructions for this. The room became too warm overnight. Opening the window was a problem as the traffic noise from the N10 became a nuisance. There was only one chair in the room, which was not satistactory when dinner was served in the room. My partner saw insects in the room which she thought may have been cockroaches, which could be a consequence of having pets in the rooms or serving meals in the bedrooms?

We often stay in Poitiers but our usual hotel was full so this was our first stay at this hotel and it was fantastic. Staff were all really helpful and friendly, the restaurant was really good for dinner and breakfast. The grounds are superb especially if you are travelling with dogs. There are acres for the dogs to have a really good and safe run. The only down side was that they charge €30 per dog which is very expensive compared to all other hotels especially as they do not offer anything extra for the dogs.

Reception staff were lovely, very helpful and very welcoming. I had been allocated a room on the 2nd floor, but staff changed it to a room on the ground floor. This was so convenient for my little dog. The park like grounds were lovely and it was great to be able to give my furry companion, space to run. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. To use a cliché- it really was like sleeping on a cloud!! Dinner and breakfast were excellent though a little pricey. I would definitely stay again.

30 euros for the dog is excessive. The shower in the wet room.flooded into the bedroom. I was single occupancy so hadn't shut the door completely - maybe a sign to say you must fully close the door??! Also the tile flooring in the bathroom retained the water, was very slippery and took hours to dry - think floor and drainage need realigning. Arrangement of toilet and handbasin very odd. A slight unpleasant odour in various parts of hotel. The inside decor is beautiful but the exterior is woeful - very off putting on first arrival.
