The receptionist was helpful. We wanted to use the hotel car park and he gave very good instructions as to how to enter (it was not accessible from the front of the hotel). The breakfast was very good, the room was a good size and the hotel was in an excellent location. From the hotel we easily found the Tourist Information Centre where we took a map of the city and were given an excellent recommendation for some eating places. We found Poitiers to be an interesting place to visit and are likely to return for a long weekend.

There was no downsides as far as we were concerned regarding this hotel. It was very welcoming.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is in the centre for all the tourist attractions also easy access for bars and restaurants..

Our hotel room was behind the metal grill decoration on front of the hotel and when we opened the window it opened up onto a covered area. This made the room very dark with no view and lack of fresh air. The room had an odd smell so think due to lack of ventilation. We didn’t get down to breakfast late but nearly everthing had gone and it did not get replenished. Access to undergroung parking is very steep and tight. Not for the faint hearted.

Clean comfortable room. The hotel is in a great location. Comfortable bed. Minutes from good restaurants and the centre of Poitiers. Good parking nearby. The breakfast was plentiful and varied . The receptionist was polite, cheerful and helpful. She directed us to some excellent restaurants and answered our questions on the area. We were also provided with a map.

We liked everything and would stay here again.

The room had no balcony, and windows faced another room. I find aneccettable that there is no mattress cover but only a bottom sheet, so you are almost directly in contact with the mattress.

Found the property fairly easily after missing it the first time around the one-way system! Very central for all the bars and restaurants and the pretty central square is only a few metres away. Room and bathroom were enormous but then again for some reason we had been put into a disabled suite. Bed super comfy and everything was very clean and smart. Breakfast was plentiful if a little chaotic as I think most guests turned up at the same time. Reception staff were very helpful.

Being on the ground floor our full width floor to ceiling windows opened directly onto the street and people moved their cars constantly throughout the night and stood chatting right outside, so we had to keep the curtains closed. Also, if you are of a nervous disposition, don't use the hotel car park (there is a public car park in the next street). Getting in and out of the super steep and very narrow entrance/exit is not for the faint hearted! Some of the local restaurants are OK for snacks/drinks/cocktails but not very good food on offer, really basic stuff. Central Poitiers lovely and very pretty, but outskirts and approach an absolute scruffy dump I'm sorry to say.

Clean, good size room and great location

Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice. Parking in Poitiers centre with a car height over 2m was a challenge, we managed to grab one of the few spaces in the nearby hotel de ville car park, but there were literally no other suitable car parks in the centre

Room very clean and comfy. Delicious breakfast with fresh orange juice, excellent coffee, tea, bread, homemade jams. Staff very friendly!

The parking is not suited for bigger cars (eg Peugeot 5008).

Check-in lady was great. Very helpful. Location was very central to the centre (which was why I chose it)

Breakfast area was very basic. Limited choice of food. Food presentation was in a too crowded an area so there was a lot of queueing and bumping into other people.

Perfect location

Difficult to arrive at the hotel when coming from the south. Traffic bollards preventing access to the hotel. Maybe the provision of the car park location may help.
