A great place to stay in Poitiers. Situated in the heart of the centre (pedestrian area) next to the 'hotel de ville" surrounded by restaurants and cafes and walking distance to most of the "must-see" tourist sites in the city. To arrive at the destination choose "parking hôtel de ville" if coming by car. Good level of security where at night you can only access it by using your room's key as the main door is locked. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We made a good choice for a two-night stay including a day spent at Futuroscope which is 20 min by car from the hotel. Definitely recommended!

-The location is the best , the view from the terrace is awesome. -We met 1 guy and 1 lady from the staff and both were very nice and friendly. -We will definitely choose this hotel again.

-No more staff after 9.00 PM, and only in one of our night stay , we had a bad incident: more then 12 adolescents had a party in the next room till 5-6.00 AM , with loud music and we couldn't contact anyone from the hotel; but Police came later and kicked them up from the hotel. -Rooms/ (Sounds) are not isolated at all. - No small refrigerator in the room, and no Kettle.

Fantastic location. Lovely room overlooking the square and hôtel de ville. The tea/coffee making tray and water was a nice touch. Good fast hairdryer. Useful guide on the desk. The sitting room between the reception and 1st floor was a pleasant surprise. Parking 150m away

The shower is up a step and the shower tray is slippery. A hazard for older people like us!

The breakfast served in your room was great. It was very tasty and the coffee was excellent. Really nice to take your time and not have to rush down to a dining room for breakfast. The staff member who brought it each morning was particularly pleasant and very friendly. She is a credit to the hotel. The manager Melaníe was very welcoming and most helpful when we arrived in the evening tired after a long day of travelling. We will be back. 🙂

A little noisy but that said it is a city centre location and the view more than made up for it.

The warm welcome from the recepionniste made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and with an excellent view over the main square. Breakfast had more than adequate choice, brought to your room at a very reasonable price. Room service was cheery and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Recommended for a stay in Poitiers.

I booked this hotel for my daughter who is studying in Universite de Poitiers on her Erasmus year from Ireland . Her friend was visiting from Ireland and I booked them into Hôtel Central as a treat. The staff at the hotel were amazing and the room was immaculately clean. The view was stunning. My daughter and her friend could not compliment the hotel but more importantly the friendly and helpful staff enough. I am visiting my daughter in Poitiers with her siblings in 2weeks and will be booking in to Hôtel.Central based on my daughters recommendations.

Great location. Loved my balcony room with the view. Also enjoyed the many restaurants directly across from the hotel.

Wish they had a small breakfast room perhaps in the underused lounge. Continental breakfast was available with room service.

The view from the room was splendid - do reserve a room with balcony. Location in the heart of the city.

Not that I did not like, but if you come by train and have luggage take a bus/taxi to the hotel because it is up on a hill and walking is tendious even if on the map it looks close.

A very nice place in the heart of Poitiers. Very well located hotel at a very reasonable price. You can reach all important and interesting sites in the town easily. Either on foot or by public transport. The staff were fine and caring.

Lovely room in a beautiful location. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially with our very limited French. The breakfast was well worth the price, and having a relaxed morning meal out on the balcony was exactly what we needed.

Can't think of any faults! We had a perfect time.
