The most important things of a hotel were fine. Bed is firm, nice warm shower, clean, room was not to small, located walking distance of the city center and trainstation. Breakfast was basic but good.

Parking location is terrible. You need to navigate to the specific address of this private parking or you will end up with your car in the wrong parking lot or at a pedestrian area at the station and a mall. Stay alert for the parking machine to enter your hotel parking code at the beginning of the entrance that is a narrow steep slope downwards or you will get stuck in front of the closed gate. Also when you are in, you need to enter the code again to open a barrier and then again you need to get through a gate to the private hotel part.

As the name suggests, Hotel Lille Europe sits between the Eurostar terminus and Lille Flandres station. With the Metro opposite the front door (and a shopping mall beside it) it's difficult to overstate the convenience of this location! All the staff were friendly and Edouard went above and beyond, allowing us to check-in early. I am very happy to recommend this clean and well-appointed hotel to anyone wanting to travel from, or to explore, this fine city.

The room was exactly as pictured. It was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is right between the two main train stations, making it an excellent spot for those who are city hopping. It within easy walking distance to the Old Town and the metro, trams and buses are just minutes away, making it easy to reach tourist attractions further afield.

I wish the room had a security box (in any case, I didn't experience any issues, but I like to have peace of mind) Additionally, I chose not to include breakfast as I thought it was pricey for what was on offer. It could have been phenomenal, I will never know. But Lille is in France: it is possible to buy a delicious croissant pretty much anywhere.

Stayed again on my way home. Nice welcoming and helpful reception team as last time. Breakfast with a view was fresh and varied continental style with friendly host. Found the location great again as 10 mins walk to the old part of town which was more impressive and extensive than I anticipated ... and 5 mins walk to the Eurostar stn. Left luggage option .... free on my last day, effectively allowed me another full day to see more of the sights. Highly recommend

Getting in and out of the bath to shower was quite an effort as nothing to hold on to and slippery wet floor afterwards ... unavoidable with the shower head, made it quite dangerous getting back out. I would recommend at least a grab bar for safety reason

Nice friendly welcome at reception. The room was fine .... reminded me of a Premier inn style hotel in the UK. The breakfast was very good ... good coffee machine, nice choices of things to eat and all fresh , including the range of juices and friendly host Starts at 06.30. Location, half way between Flanders and Europe stations was ideal .. as I arrived from the UK at one and left for Perpignan from the other. Good range of cheapish eating and drinking places around Place de Gare for evening meal too. I return for 2 nights sightseeing in 10 days ... hopefully Ill find the same.

Excellent city centre hotel with underground parking that must be pre reserved - the parking is a little difficult to find as it is nowhere near the front of the hotel - so you need to get the arrival instructions BEFORE you arrive - we didn't even though we had pre booked but for whatever reason the hotel had not seen the request via Booking.com for the parking. The hotel suggested to us that you should send a new personal message AFTER booking with the request so that they can send you back the instructions - my sat nav found the parking address first time but you need to know what you are looking for as it is a private car park with its own access codes in a very busy place for the railway station drop offs. ALSO the door to the hotels private parking area only stays open for a matter of seconds so you have to drive straight in or it will close and then you are buggered. When you enter the car park via the barrier it is the first door entrance on the left - it is marked but as it opens as you go through the barrier the name on it disappears as the door goes up....

The location was just perfect, between the 2 main train stations, metro and a shopping mall. The building is modern and has a beautiful view from the breakfast floor. The view from the room was great, watching the sunset in this beautiful setting. Breakfast was good. The coffee was very tasty! Perfect for a start of the day. The room was nice, beds comfortable. The bathroom was good, nice bathtub. The shower was a bit less comfortable but the water stream was fine. The staff were very polite and professional. We were allowed to leave our luggage after the checkout, and even sit upstairs where the sitting area is. Cleaning was everyday but we didn’t use much this service, only a couple of days. If coming back to Lille, we will definitely stay here again!

The price of breakfast was a bit expensive for the options offered. But it was good in general. The shower could be improved. For the rest not much to add.

Extremely pleasant and functional hotel which excellently serves it's purpose of accommodating various sorts of guests. Room wasn't luxurious (nor we expected such) but it was modern and definitely was so relaxing that exceeded our expectation. There was very nice wallpaper in it and very wide window perfect for watching the sundown while lying on the bed. Everything was clean and beds were super comfortable. Staff was very polite and professional, willing to do their best to make customer satisfied with the service. Neighborhood is very quiet, even though it's quite large mall nearby. Especially is peaceful during the night when the streets are almost empty. Definitely, good value for money. Excellent choice and we will come back.

The room was great: big and clean (just as in the pictures) and the staff very friendly. Nice shower and bed, and having a mini bar to put my own things is always a plus. Lille’s architecture is breathtaking.

There is no AC and I had to sleep with a fan on and still was a bit hot (mind you, this was in May… I could only imagine July-August). The location is a bit sketchy, between two train stations (though at the same time convenient), but overall, the whole city has a big population of homeless people and junkies. I always go out at night for drinks by myself when I travel; I decided not to in Lille. Be careful, tons of people asking for money and pickpocketing (even inside the stations).

The hotel is half block from both train stations, very convenient. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the breakfast (if you choose it) was varied and very nice. There is a lift and the room/shower were very clean. The beautiful historic center is about 20 minutes away or less if you’re a a faster walker. There are many restaurants and pubs very near by and into the historic plaza. The only downside was there was no air conditioning and it was very hot in Lille when we were there. They provided a small fan. Overall we were pleased with Hotel Lille.
