I surprised my wife by booking one night in this charming hotel in the French country side of Normandy, leaving the kids to friends, and we absolutely loved it. The site is just unique: a beautiful French style 18th century castle in a beautiful park. This hotel has its own restaurant next door in an old barn that serves creative and delicious French food. The environment is really quiet and romantic. Our room was recently renovated and it was cosy and comfortable. We left in the morning after a good French style breakfast (fresh coffee, pastries and jam) with a smooth checkout. We felt very welcome by the staff and we will definitely come back and take more time to visit the surroundings.

You just need a car to get there.

Everything :) Just everything. A super luxurious hotel. We are excited. Everything was just right here. Thank you for the nice staff at the reception. We had a great stay and thanks for the romantic surprise in the room. The revised breakfast offer and the beautification of the room worked great. Sustainable and delicious side dishes alongside great food and friendly service.

Fabulously restful setting with everything we needed on site, including a beautifully set out breakfast each morning in a lovely light, bright breakfast room with big windows overlooking the gardens. Or you could have your breakfast IN the garden. I come back to this place for rest & recuperation, and it does not disappoint! Bravo to it’s staff team who kept it going through Covid.

Beautiful Chateau Comfy Beds, pillows, sheets. Pleasant staff. Hard working in the hotel and the restaurant. Everyone was smiling. Bunnies, chickens, goat!

I would have liked a cooked egg breakfast and some fresh fruit (not banana) with breakfast. But overall everything was lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

LOCATION: Everything was great. Some trouble finding the hotel as we lost the internet and could not find the right way. Maybe more signs in the village would help. ROOM: There was some trouble finding our Booking reservation. Eventually found. We did not like the attic room. Finally offered 3 other rooms to choose. I think ask for ground or 2nd floor rooms. Not the attic. DINNER: Was excellent, great service, great food. BREAKFAST: very good. STAFF: very pleasant and helpful. A bit under staffed on the day we were there. Vergeni was searving about 10 tables. That was too much for one person. Thank you Vergini (sorry for wrong speling.

Bathroom poor quality - i,e, door handle falling off and needed painting. Pity having to walk to restaurant.............

Lovely chateau set in beautiful surroundings. Perfectly situated for travelling to Calais. Staff were attentive and personable. Restaurant served delicious food. Look forward to revisiting.

Superb castle. Beautiful colors of the park in autumn. Very friendly staff. Spacious room. Small bathroom but with everything. Restaurant available on site which is practical.
