Room was big enough, the bathroom was nice and clean as well. The location was well connected to public transport and a supermarket was right next to the building. Nice lively district. Overall a pleasant room with lots of plugs.

I missed a blow dryer (even though it wasn't advertised it would be helpful). The WiFi required registration every single time and you had to put in a lot of personal data (even though I already had provided them for the booking).

Very convenient location just a few minutes walk from the Monplaisir-Lumiere Metro stop. From there, it’s only a short metro ride to Gare Part-Dieu, changing lines at Saxe-Gambetta. The hotel is also just a block away from the Musee Lumiere and Place Ambroise Courtois (Sunday book and postcard market). Room was clean and had everything you need for a stay in Lyon. Nice big, comfy bed. Standard B&B Hotel fitout – basic but functional. A couple of good supermarkets just next door (Casino Supermarche across the street and a U Express downstairs next door). Nice trompe l’oeil on the wall behind the bed.

I think the lift (elevator) might be due for maintenance. A bit of a bumpy ride!

It's a very basic place. It has everything it promises.

The location was a bit too far for a walking distance to truly call it "Central". Having said that — you certainly can walk to the city center on foot. But the walk to it is quite dead and uneventful. The hood in which the hotel is located is fairly dirty, residential and boring. The hotel carpets were smelling of mold in the corridors, which is this heavy odor that you get when the carpets are not properly taken care of. The room itself was in a very basic condition. The staff was very indifferent, dressed like they were in their living room and on the phone with their friends in between the checkins.

I really liked the cleanliness of this hotel, the comfort of the bed and the friendliness of the staff

There was a bad smell of cigarette smoke coming from the shower drain, in the toilet, only during the evening and at night...

Very good value on booking.com. Clean basic hotel. Comfortable bed. Excellent A/C. In a residential neighborhood of Lyon (8th), covenient shops and restaurants around. 10 mn by metro from city center.

Would have like an electric tea kettle in the room.

its location is great very close to the metro station. Also it has its own car parking place (though it is not free)

WiFi connection. Its signal strength was weak and every time I connected I had to full the forms (name, email etc.) give agreement. Normally this should be done once when it is the first time.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was nice, it had all the basic amenities that one needs to be comfortable in a hotel room.

Although the room was fairly clean, it was still quite dusty in some parts and corners ; also there was a bit of mould around the bath tub.

Considering is a 2 star Hotel was really good the family room was great, bathroom was quite small but for the rest really good.

Good beds & bathroom, enough and good towels ( very nice that you could pick up clean towels at the accueil), very good breakfast, good parking garage (enough space & easy access), hotel very well located.

Ugly colours on the walls in the rooms (grey makes the room seem even smaller and very gloomy), no good possibility to hang up wet towels in bathroom so they can actually dry.

B&B Hotels are a budget chain, quite often out of town on the edge of industrial estates. This was in Lyons with a lively square nearby with bars and restaurants and parking available under the hotel.
