A good budget location with a kitchenette. Property is Eco and Community friendly. Boxes to collect clothing and items travelers might discard. Very clean. Staff engaging and pleasant. While not at the tourist sites, property is located near the Gare Part Dieu transport hub. Got tired coming and going after my three days there, but walkable to and from Metro. Also Gare Part Dieu is a very large commercial area with shopping, eating, symphony. Apparently City itself is in a quieter zone, though you gently hear the frequent trains and trams.

No strong dislikes.

Nice city apartment, very good size for a family, we have only stayed 1 night, but enjoyed as the loving room was huge, small kitchenette was very useful, little fridge, nice size bedroom with a fan and huge air conditioning machine, big bathroom, friendly staff on arrival.

It was a bit difficult to leave the underground parking as we didn't know that we should have kept our room key with us, when we handed over , we could have been informed that we need it , so we had to run about to look for someone to unlock the gate, where we thought it was automatic.

We didn't expect it to be so good. The beds are really comfortable, room is spacious and well equipped. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Being vegan we didn't have much to eat at breakfast but they offered us coffee without any extra cost. Having a fridge, stove and a microwave in the room is really helpful. It's located just a few minutes from the Rhônexpress station which takes you directly to and from the airport. We will surely opt for the same property or search for other Appart'City stays in other parts of France next time.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and pillows, with a spare pillow available (3 in total in my room). Being an apart hotel, the room had a stove, dishes and cutlery set for a longer stay. I was in for only one night, but would easily recommend it for longer business trips, if you're on the budget and want to prepare your own food. 5 minutes walking distance from Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu, which means great connection to the rest of the city with public transport and direct Rhonexpress line to the airport (goes every 15 minutes, travels for 30 minutes, and approx. 5 times cheaper than a taxi). There is a decent grocery store just around the corner.

The fridge in the room is a bit noisy. Room door was squeaking. Basic communication with staff in English is possible, but the staff is not proficient in English. If you speak French that's not an issue. That's not a big issue (since the staff is friendly) and is certainly not an isolated case in France, so I wouldn't consider it as a serious downside.

No heating or cooling built in, but there was an oil heater and a standalone air conditioner. The curtains were effective block out curtains! I was worried we were going to be kept awake by people coming in and out of the elevators that were right in front of our door, but that wasn't an issue at all. The kitchenette even had a stove!

The air conditioning was very noisy even on level one, but that may be because I didn't run it for very long.

Overall it was a nice accommodation. The room is pretty basic, but was clean. It’s located near the main train station, so it’s perfect if you’re coming with bussines (the business area is very close) but if you’re planning to visit the city, especially the city center, i don’t really recommend it. It’s pretty far, and you depend on the public transport. Breakfast was good, not very diverse. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, we used it a lot (except 1 or 2 days, when there was a strike). The internet worked really good.

It’s really far from city center, the location is not very nice.

Great location near Lyon Part-Dieu station and for heading out to the stadium for a Rugby WC match. I liked the mezzanine level room, quite spacious. We were on the top floor and had a balcony also. The living area small especially when using the sofa bed, but with a little creativity, the limited space was manageable. Staff very welcoming and great with holding our luggage too.

It could do with a little refresh but it met our needs for our short stay. There was an issue with the shower head attachment and not much could be done at the time we discovered the problem, but staff appreciated us letting them know and were onto maintenance to fix it first thing.

The room was very spacious en clean, with the added advantage of a real kitchen with a fridge, two hotplates, pans and other utensils. Plus all the cups and plates you need for a short stay. I liked the little desk where I could do some typing. Everything is quite simple, no luxury of plush, but I rather have a simple kitchen than no kitchen. And the bed was very good. I also very much likes the ladies at the reception who were super friendly and helpfull. With real smiles.

The neighborhood is a bit boring, but then the walk to the other side of Part Dieu Train station was nog very long. The form want me to talk more about this but I'll be damned if I'm going to invent negative commentary because the form wants more words.

24-hour reception, everything was present as described, excellent WiFi. Security deposit was not needed ;)

Poor soundproofing (however heard only neighbors, since was lucky to get room with windows to the inner yard), breakfast - very basic (but was useful when lack of time), toilet was not flushing very well.

Apart from the fan, everything was very clean. The room is well-equipped. I stayed there at the end of October, so the fan was more than enough. It's close to the train station. Compared to nearby accommodations, it's very good value for money. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is modern.

The only thing is that the fan was a bit dusty. I had to pay 10 euros for the dog, which is not too bad compared to other hotels, but sometimes I paid much less or nothing at all. Apart from that, everything was great.
