Everything. The location is literally amazing. Bang in the old town but also next to cools bars and a sandwich bakery coffee shop next door. The C3 bus stop is right next to it. The Lyon main town is a walk over the bridge. We stayed for 3 nights and this place was the perfect base! The staff were friendly and relaxed which made us feel the same. The breakfast was great although we decided to have breakfast out the last 2 mornings which was easy as there’s loads of places for croissants and omelettes etc! You can get free water to refill in the hotel which was a great touch as it was 32 degrees when we were there. There are scooters right outside to rent to pop around the streets on. So fun. The bathroom was compact but still had a bath which was great to cool down in. Air con was absolutely necessary while we were there and this worker well. Overall- stay here for a perfect holiday in Lyon at a really reasonable price for where it is!!!

Interesting 'themed' hotel in a superb location in Vieux Lyon. Large comfortable rooms with all amenities including reliable wifi. Particularly liked the water fountain in the lobby. Excellent breakfast. Helpful friendly staff.

Angle poise beside lamps were difficult to position. Problems with the lift culminating in it breaking down just before check out. Reception sent someone to carry my luggage down five floors which I appreciated. The quirky school-themed decor may not be to everyone's taste but I enjoyed my three night stay.

This wonderfully quirky hotel is right in the heart of old Lyons. The views from the balcony are wonderful and the staff could not have been kinder. They were able to help with locating shops for us and arranging a taxi for friends. It is an absolutely wonderful hotel.

The seal on the shower door needs some attention? Given that we are not exactly in the first flush of youth I would probably ask for a room with a standing shower as the bath was rather a challenge to get in and out of.

As always, a great stay. The team is incredibly lovely and helpful, also caters to individual wishes and the location of the accommodation could not be more perfect. The rooms have air conditioning, which is very pleasant in the high summer temperatures. Also the view is a dream every morning. It's worth getting up for sunrise.

The ventilation in the bathroom was on all the time, which gets a bit annoying over time.

Great location with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Buses were very available nearby. Cute “going back to school theme carried out throughout the property. Very nice breakfast that includes fresh eggs. Busy location, but quiet. Lovely bar on rooftop of 2nd floor. Best of all-,a charming and helpful reception staff.

Closets were school lockers, so there was not much space for clothes. The only flat surface was a small table so not much room for small items.

We spent a week visiting Lyon and this hotel is excellent! It’s in the best area of Lyon, you can walk pretty much everywhere - easy walking distance to hotel de ville, place bellecour, croix rousse etc. The C3 bus takes you directly to Part Dieu station. It’s worth upgrading to the larger room which comes with a bath tub and a little balcony - really nice! Facilities are excellent, the water machine and table football in the lobby are nice touches. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to chill out and watch the world go by below. All round, I cannot fault this hotel.

Nothing - everything was perfect!

Delightfully quirky with a school/college decorative theme throughout. Also a lovely terrace with a bar that was open early evening though terrace always open. Great location for exploring.

In one of the three rooms we booked the shower des not drain very quickly and flooded the bathroom but I’ve no doubt this has been fixed by now. Also felt breakfast was rather expensive as there are several cafes right on the doorstep.

Loved the funky vibe, the room was comfortable, although rather small. Liked the water station downstairs, where they provided glasses and bottles for you to take out or to your room. Loved the breakfast, really good value. Thought the staff were excellent and the location couldn’t have been better

We booked a taxi through reception and it was forgotten. They did have one there in 10mins though, so good recovery

The location was brilliant - walking distance to everything we wanted to see however it was the staff who were the highlight. Kind, caring, knowledgeable, friendly - we were treated with real care by the front fest team. Thank you for all the recommendations you have us to make our stay special

Small thing. The hairdryer !! You had to hold the switch on all the time to use it !! It was almost impossible to do.

Centrally located near restaurants, attractions and transportation. Friendly and helpful staff. They have complimentary water located at the lobby which is great after a day of walking. The bar on the second floor is a nice place for drinks and tapas. There is a second bar on the street level. There’s also a bakery just outside of the hotel. Perfect for breakfast and lunch.
