Can't beat the location of this hotel! It's so close to the MSM that we could actually see it from our room balcony which was absolutely amazing. We appreciated parking lot right next to the entrance and the ability to walk to MSM from the hotel. Because of the location we were able to visit MSM in the evening when most of the tourists leave, and enjoy the empty streets of an old medieval town without a crowd. It was magical! Although, the hotel is old and room decor looks tired, our room and especially bathroom were much more spacious than anticipated. The beds were comfy and everything was very clean. Amazing restaurant at the property, where we had an excellent dinner.

I like the place, it's good for 1 night stay. Staff are very kind and helpful. So thankful that they help us calling a taxi going to Pontorson train station without waiting 3 hours for the bus to come. Nice ambiance, we have a room with a view of the mont.

They give us a room on a higher floor and the big problem is they don't have a lift, you must carry yourself your luggage going up alone with many stairs to climb. It is our 1st time to visit in Mont Saint Michel, I messaged the hotel what bus station that I need to stop from Pontorson , the response was Mont Saint Michel station but unknowingly the hotel's location is in the 2nd to the last station before arriving to the bridge, I saw very late the hotel's name and the bus don't stop anymore because only in bus stop. So we walk about 2 kms.carrying our luggage from Mont Saint Michel going to the hotel because it is not possible to take the free ride bus, it is full of tourist that was around 2:30pm.

The kind lady at the front desk was so helpful with information. She was friendly and took her time to explain to us about the bus to the train. She looked up the schedule, explained where to go to catch the bus and how much it would cost. She knew where to send us to eat when our Hotel restaurant was closed for the holiday. When we didn’t know it was a holiday she took the time to tell us about Victory Day. She was a world of knowledge and so much help to us. the beds were comfortable, there were extra pillows in the closet, the location is the best, the shower had plenty of warm/hot water and very good pressure and we had a view out our Juliet balcony and the river of Mont Saint Michel.

The staff were all great - very helpful, friendly, & courteous. The proximity to Mont Saint-Michel was fantastic & we enjoyed having a little balcony off our room where we could look to the river & to the Mont site. We appreciated the use of insect spray when we left our balcony door open to cool down the room & lots of mosquitoes got into our room! Having the use of the spray from the front desk helped so much!

The room was hot without AC, but the front desk people provided us with a standing fan that helped a lot!

Fabulous location, well appointed room, very clean. Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Shuttle to MSM was a very short walk away. A sharp thunderstorm curtailed our plans to walk to a restaurant close by so we ate at the hotel. So glad we did, the food was excellent started with 8 beautiful fresh langoustine absolutely gorgeous. Followed by a wheat risotto with roasted veg, this description doesn't do it justice, it was delicious. Highly recommended.

No lift so a bit of a walk to 2nd floor

Antique lock not compliant with the new specifications. I believe we slept with the door unlocked, as from inside it is not possible to judge whether the door is really locked. Closing the restaurant for dinner too early. Considering that the tourist place keeps the guest at the castle until after the tide, it would have been nice to be able to dine in the hotel even a little later.

location was excellent. It was especially nice having an entrance to the trail behind the hotel which runs along the river bank. hotel was easily accessible and very comfortable. the shuttle stand is a few steps from the hotel, so that was excellent.

the water closet (toilet) was next to the bed and didn’t have a sink. we had to do our business, then walk across the room to the bathroom (shower and double sink) to wash our hands. very odd layout for that purpose.

Having visited Mont-St-Michel so many times I had always wanted to stay in a hotel in this 'restricted' area. I was not disappointed as the shuttle bus stopped very near to the hotel so we ate on the Mont in the evening and went back to the Abbey in the morning (book the English Speaking Guided Tour - it is brilliant)

Breakfast was priced at 14eu so we bought a croissant and coffee at the coffee shop by the bus stop.

This hotel is in an outstanding location for MSM visitors, we booked the three beds balcony room, that allows us to have extra space in the room, and easy to view the magnificent Abbey from the balcony. The reception desk lady is one of most kind and helpful staff in our five week’s travel, all the staff are very friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant, very good service and excellent meals.

Very spacious room, proper facilities including hair dryer and kettle, nice location near Mont Saint Michel as you can walk for 25-30 mins or take a free shuttle bus only 2 stops to there. Also, the new restaurant in the hotel has an interesting policy: plant-based ingredients, so you can enjoy eating various kinds of healthy food.

The window should be clear and no filter or no barrier that block guests for seeing view outside.
