Excellent, unique, and wonderful hotel. The 'Suite' room is at 5-star level and an experience by itself. The hotel seems to strive for quality and a positive experience, and staff is very friendly and helpful (with particular compliments to Aurélie who gave us such a good welcome). Location right next to the botanical garden is great too. Silent room and quiet surroundings.

Nothing! If I have to name anything its that the optional breakfast is a bit on the expensive side - though I believe this is common for hotels in this price range.

I could see the hotel room at the picture so it was not surprise but I must say that what made our stay perfect were people at the reception and the cleaning lady. Everyone was wonderful and helpful. Plus good location, comfortable bed.

There was an air-condition and it was working, but still it was 23°C in the room at night. However, it was very hot week 32°C and I am used to having 18°C in the bedroom so I think it may be only my problem and most people would not mind.

The location, next to the Jardin des Plantes is peaceful, but a bit out of the way. Good to have secure parking. Physical plant, crafted out of an old church, is lovely. Very nice and helpful staff. Modern elevator. We appreciate their securing a van for us to the airport, as we had a lot of baggage from a 6 week trip.

Breakfast a bit routine, and we really detest Nescafe coffee. Room closet space rather minimal. not the hotel's fault, but the taxi situation in Nantes is shambolic.

Location - close to centre, easy access to tram and station, reserved car park Room - comfortable, coffee machine, kettle, toiletries, view of the gardens Breakfast - hot and cold buffet, decaf coffee available and oat milk. Staff - very helpful on arrival providing map of Nantes and information. We had to leave suddenly in early hours due to family emergency. Staff available 24hours, made us a take away breakfast for our long journey. Couldn’t have been more helpful.

The hotel less than 10 mins from the train station probably 5min walk really it quicker to walk through the beautiful park , the reception area when you walk in is very unique and cosy and the staff are really nice and welcoming and easy to talk to considering I cant speak French! the room is everything you see in the photos its very swanky and has a bit off a posh feel to it!

The way they modernized a piece of history is incredible. A really nice stay, clean, comfortable rooms, nice and helpful staff on top of a high quality breakfast. The location is also an advantage, having just to cross Jardin des plantes (just wonderful) and you get to the City Center. All in all, highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Nantes.

Beautiful old building with original features like stained glass, brought right up to date inside with modern fixtures and fittings. Although our room was not large it was extremely well designed to accommodate everything you would need in the space. Location is very good. Right next to the beautiful large Botanicsl Park and close enough to the centre for the sights, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was a good quality buffet. Staff were friendly and the hotel accommodated our small dog. On site parking at a reasonable charge.

Very beautiful interior spaces. Very quiet. Great quality bedding. Private parking on hotel property. Very accommodating and welcoming staff.

This is just me but there seems to be a trade off between the beauty of the interior design and comfort and convenience. The furniture in the room was rather uncomfortable - but it looked nice. The bathing area was similarly beautifully designed but there wasn’t enough counter space for toiletries or towel racks for wet towels. This may be just fine for many travelers but it was a bit irritating to us given the price of the suite. Management told us we could request an extra table for the bathing area the next time we stayed which was very nice.

Staff were really helpful and went the extra mile

The options for food were not great, it was teaming down with rain so we couldn't get out and we had our dog. We opted for the room service menu, should have chosen the fresh meat and cheese platters, however, we went for the hot options as we had been travelling all day which were microwaved, which is OK, but they were pretty tasteless
