It was fairly easy to drive to despite road closures. We were able to park outside and enquire about the underground car park adjacent to the hotel. It was well situated to walk along the Loire to see les machines de Nantes (the big elephant) (25 mins walk) and also to walk across the river to see the older quarters , Passage de Pommeraye and the Chateau des Ducs. (25 mins). We were also pleased to have a kitchenette for tea and coffee making as well as a simple supper. We did not have to use the car again and we’re able to leave it securely parked until 5.pm on the day we checked out with no extra charge after the 12€ daily charge the day before.

Unfortunately the electric induction hob was not working and there was a shortage of cutlery. The receptionist was able to provide the cutlery but everyone had gone off duty by the time we discovered the problem with the hob. Next morning we were told to switch it off and on again at the main plug but that was not accessible where we looked. Managed to cook pasta in the microwave but it was not very easy or very safe as microwave situated up high. There were no restaurants cafes or shops open in the area on a Sunday but there is the university cafe opposite open weekdays and this was spotless and reasonably priced. The skirtings and radiator in bathroom quite dusty and the extract fan. No ac so quite warm but windows in the bedroom.

It is located in a quiet part of town walking distance to everything you might need, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. There were laundry facilities available the kitchenette was handy, luggage storage helped as well, the staff were very helpful although language was a bit of a barrier at times but it depended on who was on the desk they were all helpful though

The room had an interesting layout so it was a squeeze to get past the bed to the bathroom, no aircon or fan so we needed to have the windows open and I got eaten by mosquitoes, plus the curtains made it hard to open the windows so the curtains were half falling off the windows when we first entered the room

Very good breakfast at dining room with nice view of the city. Room was clean and comfortable with small equipped kitchen including a fridge with really enough space (this is not usual for most of hotels).

Bathroom was disaster in comparison to other things. It was small, toilet very near to the shower and wash-basin in the same room. Strange smell in the bathroom, which was not possible to get rid of it. For the shower, there was just the hole on the ground for water reflux.

The room was clean and large. Room has no AC so I don't recommend during summer however during our visit in September it was perfect.

The internet is limited to 5 connections but I was able to connect more times than that but if internet is essential for your stay I would enquire first. The bed mattress was a little worn in the sense that your body sinks into it and the side is way higher, but not bad as still able to get a good night sleep.

The hotel is located next to the river, so the neighborhood is also nice. We could easily find the pharmacy and coffee shops. The staff is very friendly, the room is spacious and clean, our windows were looking at the river, so the sunset was amazing.

In general, all was good. The parking fee is a bit too high, but we found a public parking outside and paid per hours.

Location was perfect

Small point but the receptionist did not fully understand English. I had booked a second room for a friend who lives in France. I was to pay for my room and he was to pay for his own room. Unfortunately, the receptionist charged me for both rooms and I got paid in cash for my friends' room. Not ideal.

Issue of the location..difficult to reach on 18 minute walk..bridges Yet ...SHOULD ONLY TAKE BUS 5 FROM THE TRAIN ..it stops 5 minute walk to reach property is buried inside large complex of buildings..not easy to locate to view from the street...but accommodations are superior..worth the effort

Room was big and comfortable. We also used the parking. It was very quiet in the area during night as it looks like a non-residential area. It was okay and value for money.

Location is a bit outside the city centre but still close (about 20 mins on foot). There are not so many places closeby to eat / have a coffee etc. but it was okay.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. I was travelling from the UK and had not brought any electrical adapters with me but the staff at reception lent me a couple for my four day stay. They were also very helpful with any queries I had about local shops and transport links. The cooking facilities in my suite were more than adequate for my needs as was the supplied towels etc.

The hooms are quite ok, clean and larger enough. Beds are ok. Breakfast is above standard and the location of the hotel is good. In a 15 min walk you are in the inner city, while it is also quite easy to go to the airport with a taxi.

The language abilities of the staff could be MUCH better. It is maybe a 50:50 chance to have somebody at the reception who understands english. Ask for the door pin if you arrive late! The room is not serviced every day.
