The staff at Best Western Lakmi Hotel were exceptional. They attended to our every need. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Fatima, Amira and Farah made us feel so welcome. This welcoming reception was extended throughout our stay also by Ana and her colleague at the reception desk. I requested a room with a balcony and this was arranged for me by the Fatima, Amira and Farah. Thank you so much. Breakfast was outstanding. There was so much of variety, both sweet and savoury and the freshly squeezed orange juice was an added bonus. I am a vegetarian and the staff especially Yusoka went beyond her call of duty to ensure that I was provided with a hot breakfast option everyday. This was outside of the set menu for breakfast. Thank you so much to your wonderful staff for all the care and concern. The room was exceptionally clean. The location was fabulous, within close distance to everything. Most of all it was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. The lift in the hotel was rather small and took a long time to get to the upper floors.

i liked the location of the hotel a lot: it is very central in a very nice neighborhood just 30 seconds from Avenue Jean Medcin and about 1 minute to the city tram and the tram to the airport. It only takes you 10-15 minutes to walk to the seaside along that very nice street. The hotel and the room are very clean and stylish. The room offers a very comfy bed, a nice desk with some tea bags/coffee and a teapot, and a chair. The wardrobe is very convenient and has enough space. The bathroom is spacious enough, it offers a bath and all the needed toiletries (shampoo/shower gel and soap). Towels are changed daily. My room had a nice balcony overlooking the street. It was pleasant to sit there and enjoy the city view. The breakfast was good but rather limited (boiled and scrambled eggs, ham and sausages, crepes, some stewed fruit, yogurt, 2 types of cheese, jam, pastry (pies, croissants, cakes, rolls), muesli and cornflakes, probably that was it. And fresh squeezed orange juice - that was very nice to start the day with! after 2pm guests were offered free tea or coffee in the lobby. Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot! Especially getting a free bottle of champagne for my birthday - very thoughtful of the hotel staff! The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful, always smiling and assisting with any need, which made my stay just perfect. I will be happy to come back when I am in Nice next time!

well, the only thing I did not quite like was that there was some space between the floor and the room door, so I could hear guests coming to their rooms. However, there was a second door that separated the room entrance area and the sleeping area, so when you close this one, it is better. Plus if you are a light sleeper, you may hear the noise of the cars passing by (for that the hotel offers earplugs), but this does not happen too often as it is a side street with not much traffic. I was always tired after the day, so it did not disturb me at all.

The big bonus of this hotel is the personnel. the girls at the reception were very nice and helpful, always with a smile on their face. The hotel has a very good location from where you can visit the main attractions walking. The taxi (Uber) from airport to the hotel was 20 Eur. Breakfast was ok, with a variety of choices. Single room is big enough for a person (I read other reviews that the rooms are small but in my opinion this is not true). the bed is more than enough and comfortable (I think it has 120 cm or 140 not sure but again enough for one person). Bathroom is very big and clean. Very good value for money.

The noise. The hotel has no sound proof, and you can hear the noise from the street and neighbors speaking. In my case I could hear the guys from next door them until 1 PM laughing and talking. Also at 6 pm you start hearing the cars and tram. So if you are a light sleeper prepare for a short night. As other people wrote there is a distance between the door and carpet but I covered it with a towel. I also did not like the smell in the room that might have come from the bathroom drain. These are not big cons but anyways if I would have known the sleeping problem I might have thought twice before booking

Location, facilities and convenient for a short visit to Nice. The breakfast was very good.

Good hotel. Welcoming staff. Room was small but comfy - bed was about 80% size of the room :) Balcony view great - nice to seat and watch the city. Breakfast have small choice but delicious - fresh orange juice and fresh bread, loose tea (pricy!) - you won't be hungry. Overall I liked the hotel:) Woudn't mind stay here another time

1. Really small room - no place to unpack a luggage. 2. A/C didn't work. Yes, it's november, but at midday it was really sunny and hot, but A/C only had hot air. 3. No shelves in the shower - that's really annoying - nowhere to put your shampoo while you wash your hair. 4. The smell in the bathroom is really strong - as if somebody died in the pipes. Don't know if it's temporarily (there was some construction underway next door) or not, but it was not nice.

Great location in the heart of Nice, near both tram and rail connections. Plenty of shops nearby, hotel staff all very polite and professional, rooms clean and value for money, breakfast delicious and you can have a coffee/hot chocolate at 2pm downstairs, overall would recommend BW Lakmi Nice 👍🏼

Absolutely no fault of the hotel but just to say the location is in the heart of the city so expect some noise outside at night time, especially Friday and Saturday night.

The staff was truly superior. When we arrived Nacir and Fatima were so helpful and likeable. It was like being with friends from home. All the staff we encountered were so nice, and I mean all. Location is great. Train a 15 minute walk away at most, trams to get to promenade & old town just a few minutes away, shops & restaurants also minutes away by foot. Breakfast was great and off of reception area was an all day coffee lounge, free, I had many cappuccino's there. In addition we were able to store our luggage there after checkout so we could still spend the day in Nice. The beds were very comfortable and the room very clean and nicely maintained.

My only issue was although we were in a superior room with balcony, the room faced the main shopping area. It was noisy most of the night with people and that's ok because I lived in Manhattan for years, however, and the hotel had no control over this, around midnight tree trimmers would start trimming the beautiful trees with noisy machines. This went on till about 3 in the morming.Again. hotel has no control over this. It was kind of funny, although we diid not get much sleep.

I'm pretty sure we got upgraded for our honeymoon which was so lovely - we ended up with a corner room (two windows) overlooking the main street in Nice. It was incredibly spacious with a full closet, desk, chairs, and bed. We are both very tall people and that was incredibly appreciated. The bathroom had a shower inside the tub which was helpful for us for washing clothes on our trip. The staff is SO helpful and so nice. We never wanted for anything during our stay.

The breakfast is good - fairly standard for an included hotel breakfast. If you're looking for authentic Niçoise options, I may recommend going outside the hotel for breakfast.

The staff was accommodating, friendly and helpful. I added breakfast and it was simple yet done well. The beds were comfortable in a decently sized room for its class central to the city and within walking distance to most key areas. Showers are clean, internet and lounge are available with coffee from the machine (which was super helpful as I needed to do a little bit of work).

During one of the early hours of the morning, I could hear sounds from trucks but the double-glazed can douse the sounds a little. It's not a deal breaker and it's expected to hear a little noise given its central local.

Staff: Very greeting and helpful. Breakfast: We found it quite good. Especially the croissants were amazing :) Room: A little bit too squeezed but of course that depends on what you pay for it. Bathroom was quite spacious though. Internet: Fast and uninterrupted Location: Really central. You can walk wherever you want in Nice. Other facilities: Good to have a balcony, even though really small.

Noise Isolation: Especially the rooms facing towards main street requires a really good isolation, which the our room lacked. Resulting with several times jumping from the sleep.Good
