The staff at Best Western Lakmi Hotel were exceptional. They attended to our every need. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Fatima, Amira and Farah made us feel so welcome. This welcoming reception was extended throughout our stay also by Ana and her colleague at the reception desk. I requested a room with a balcony and this was arranged for me by the Fatima, Amira and Farah. Thank you so much. Breakfast was outstanding. There was so much of variety, both sweet and savoury and the freshly squeezed orange juice was an added bonus. I am a vegetarian and the staff especially Yusoka went beyond her call of duty to ensure that I was provided with a hot breakfast option everyday. This was outside of the set menu for breakfast. Thank you so much to your wonderful staff for all the care and concern. The room was exceptionally clean. The location was fabulous, within close distance to everything. Most of all it was so peaceful. We would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable. The lift in the hotel was rather small and took a long time to get to the upper floors.

The hotel has an amazing location in the center of the city. Everything is close, including a Monoprix, the main train station and the tramway. We arrived earlier than the check in time and because our room was already ready we could take it immediately. All personell were really kind and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies. The breakfast had a wide range of food selection with home made pastries.

The walls are a bit thin, so we could hear the noisy neighbor and during the night the late arriving guests from the corridor. Otherwise since it’s a hotel in the center of the city, city noises such as a garbage truck wasn’t a surprise. Some more minor things which could be improved are that the hairdryer’s cord is very short and there are very few places which we could use to dry our swimming outfits.

The property was in a great location! Very close to shopping,mall,restaurants & convenient store. The beach was a 10 min walk,very easy to navigate. The hotel was extremely clean. I highly recommend getting the breakfast. Fresh food & vast variety of items to choose from. The best part of my stay was the staff. I was traveling solo,most the staff was women which I preferred. They all were so accommodating friendly & nice. Ana helped me with many things. The staff really goes above & beyond. If you are having trouble with your phone just buy a $20 SIM card from the store across the street. I loved my stay at this property & would stay there again. Rooms are simple but clean & nice.

I thought my room would have balcony but I’m pretty sure balcony access is only available for breakfast views

The hotel is very close to Nice-Ville train station. This is a very nicely designed hotel. The smiling receptionist with perfect English always pleased and made the day better. I appreciate the availability of good coffee and tea throughout the day. In the same way, the hotel takes care of clients, for example by offering beach towels, umbrellas or sunscreen. They also offer a good breakfast.

I recommend the hotel management to visit the rooms and check the quality of the bathrooms. In the same way, the breakfast staff should know that their job is to take care of clients, serve breakfast, ensure food refills, take away dirty dishes and clean up. Unfortunately, every day I only saw their primary interest - mainly to check if the guest has paid the breakfast and ignore all their duties ☹️. It's a shame, it's the only downside to this hotel.

i liked the location of the hotel a lot: it is very central in a very nice neighborhood just 30 seconds from Avenue Jean Medcin and about 1 minute to the city tram and the tram to the airport. It only takes you 10-15 minutes to walk to the seaside along that very nice street. The hotel and the room are very clean and stylish. The room offers a very comfy bed, a nice desk with some tea bags/coffee and a teapot, and a chair. The wardrobe is very convenient and has enough space. The bathroom is spacious enough, it offers a bath and all the needed toiletries (shampoo/shower gel and soap). Towels are changed daily. My room had a nice balcony overlooking the street. It was pleasant to sit there and enjoy the city view. The breakfast was good but rather limited (boiled and scrambled eggs, ham and sausages, crepes, some stewed fruit, yogurt, 2 types of cheese, jam, pastry (pies, croissants, cakes, rolls), muesli and cornflakes, probably that was it. And fresh squeezed orange juice - that was very nice to start the day with! after 2pm guests were offered free tea or coffee in the lobby. Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot! Especially getting a free bottle of champagne for my birthday - very thoughtful of the hotel staff! The hotel staff was always very friendly and helpful, always smiling and assisting with any need, which made my stay just perfect. I will be happy to come back when I am in Nice next time!

well, the only thing I did not quite like was that there was some space between the floor and the room door, so I could hear guests coming to their rooms. However, there was a second door that separated the room entrance area and the sleeping area, so when you close this one, it is better. Plus if you are a light sleeper, you may hear the noise of the cars passing by (for that the hotel offers earplugs), but this does not happen too often as it is a side street with not much traffic. I was always tired after the day, so it did not disturb me at all.

The big bonus of this hotel is the personnel. the girls at the reception were very nice and helpful, always with a smile on their face. The hotel has a very good location from where you can visit the main attractions walking. The taxi (Uber) from airport to the hotel was 20 Eur. Breakfast was ok, with a variety of choices. Single room is big enough for a person (I read other reviews that the rooms are small but in my opinion this is not true). the bed is more than enough and comfortable (I think it has 120 cm or 140 not sure but again enough for one person). Bathroom is very big and clean. Very good value for money.

The noise. The hotel has no sound proof, and you can hear the noise from the street and neighbors speaking. In my case I could hear the guys from next door them until 1 PM laughing and talking. Also at 6 pm you start hearing the cars and tram. So if you are a light sleeper prepare for a short night. As other people wrote there is a distance between the door and carpet but I covered it with a towel. I also did not like the smell in the room that might have come from the bathroom drain. These are not big cons but anyways if I would have known the sleeping problem I might have thought twice before booking

The hotel has a very convenient location in terms of walking time: to the main station is about 5-7 min, to the beach/promenade is about 20 min. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small, but comfortable and exceptionally clean.

We didn’t really like the location surroundings. It is located at the main shopping street and there’s always a lot of people, if we try took a parallel street, there were mostly homeless people and a pornographer garbage.

Location, facilities and convenient for a short visit to Nice. The breakfast was very good.

Good hotel. Welcoming staff. Room was small but comfy - bed was about 80% size of the room :) Balcony view great - nice to seat and watch the city. Breakfast have small choice but delicious - fresh orange juice and fresh bread, loose tea (pricy!) - you won't be hungry. Overall I liked the hotel:) Woudn't mind stay here another time

1. Really small room - no place to unpack a luggage. 2. A/C didn't work. Yes, it's november, but at midday it was really sunny and hot, but A/C only had hot air. 3. No shelves in the shower - that's really annoying - nowhere to put your shampoo while you wash your hair. 4. The smell in the bathroom is really strong - as if somebody died in the pipes. Don't know if it's temporarily (there was some construction underway next door) or not, but it was not nice.
