Nice hotel, within walking distance from city center and promenade. On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable (we have asked for twin beds and that’s exactly what we got. Very rarely the hotels accommodate that request). The room was extremely quiet and facing the inner backyard, allowing a quiet and peaceful sleep. Nice decoration.

The shower water pressure was not enough for a decent hair wash (for a lady with long hair, at least).

The hotel is just great for your stay in Nice. Located between the train station, the promenade and the old city in a beautiful old building, the hotel offers the perfect correlation between price and quality. The room was big enough and so was the bathroom. The place was clean, so wеre the sheets and the towels. The bed was super comfy and big (180/200) and the staff satisfied our request for two separate top covers. They also had left a sweet welcoming surprise on the bed with a greeting card. I really love this personal attitude!

I liked everything. Before the booking I read a lot of comments about the noise but I really didn`t hear so much noise at all. We slept well every night so I can`t say that this was an issue.

This is an amazing hotel, full of character and charm, with lots of small touches which adds to the experience. From the moment we walked in to leave our bags until the room was ready, the staff offered us free coffee and water in a comfortable lobby. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks back from the seafront, close to the tram stop, straight to the airport. Something else that stood out was just how friendly and efficient the staff are. They seem to all enjoy their jobs and genuinely care about their customers. The bed was really comfortable and the room tastefully decorated. Breakfast was varied with a good range of fresh food, most of which is organic. A big thumbs up from us. We hope to return again sometime.

your staff are amazing!! Firas, Emily, Etienne, Aria... (and the cleaning lady but didnt catch her name). Nothing was ever too much trouble and they all went out of their way, and always with a smile. I also loved the little touch of having a little welcome postcard with my name on it and little chocolate.. Its always those extra touches that you remember when travelling.

My only comment would be that I felt the room had very dark wallpaper (I know some of the other rooms from website were brighter) and I think lighter walls are always more uplifting, especially if its raining outside ;-). Many other four star hotels I have stayed in usually have little extras such as shower cap, toothpaste etc or the likes - its only a suggestion though.

The location was great in many ways - quiet street, short walk from tram (direct from airport), 5 mins from train station to get to the sandy beach other side of port, lots of nearby restaurants, 10mins to beach. The facilities were excellent for the price - room a good size, toiletries good, free tea, coffee, water whenever you wanted. Staff were all lovely.

Only small gripe was the shower...it's over a batch which wasn't installed to have a shower over it and you couldn't get under the actual shower so had to hold it to wash hair. Also had to be careful not to soak the floor, would be more awkward for someone tall.

The location is perfect.. in the very heart of Nice; just off the elegant Boulevard Victor Hugo; it is a 3 minute walk from the tram stop,coming from the airport. My room was huge as I was given a free upgrade to a family room; the heating system worked perfectly well. Breakfast was ok, not spectacular. The small coissants and pains au chocolat were not freshly baked and that was a pity.

There was nothing I did not really like; I mentioned a few "problems" to the receptionist ,like the door of my room that did not close automatically behind me, and the receptionist was going to have it repaired. The staff were open to suggestions.

The staff and facilities are well thought out. The lobby had umbrellas for guests to use. The doors had draught exlcuders to stop cold air getting in the rooms. Complimentary coffee and water was offered throughout the hotel. You could provide details online beforehand to expedite check in. The hotel also called me before arrival to make sure my details were correct and whether I required any additional services. We arrived early and left our luggage next to the reception. When we came back later, they had already moved our luggage into our room. It was a great experience.

Everything was good. There was some building works during the day, These will be completed soon and will improve moving between the reception and the building where the rooms are.

We was in the superior room. It was very big and very comfortable. The bathrooms' products were very good and there was everything you need. The possibility to fill your bottle with fresh water is a super idea in order to be ecological. The staff was very very available for each request and they are very nice. The location of the hotel is in a strategic position, near the old town and the city center, but in a calm area. Moreover, you can give them the baggage in day of the arriving or departure, also if the room is not ready or if you have already to the check out. It was a really wonderful stay. I fully recommend it.

Excellent value for the money in the off-season; the price was almost too good to be true! Great location, excellent breakfast, nice room with a bohemian style, very clean, wifi worked fine, good quality coffee and tea in the room along with a kettle and a fridge.

Two minor points: 1) Heat was not adjustable, and the room was a little cold (the hotel says it's heated to 19C, but it felt colder). I just layered up. Blankets were heavy enough for comfortable sleeping. 2) In the room I was in (42), the desk is very small and had only a stool, so it was not really set up for comfortable working. Hopefully you don't have to work! I just worked from the bed instead.

Friendly and accommodating staff (all of them!). Tastefully decorated room. Very comfortable mattress and pillows. Breakfast until 11am. Free cold filtered water (they even provided water bottles!). You can also borrow beach towels and umbrellas for free.

Two-ply toilet paper. The bathroom looked dated and had some water damage on the wall. But it was clean. The room didn't have a lot of natural light but I didn't mind because it was too hot when I arrived.
