Hotel Le Petit Trianon

A really lovely self service style mini apartment experience which really gave you that feel of freedom to come and go as you pleased. Despite being close to a lively square with some lovely restaurants and cafes the windows were really effective at keeping any street noise out which surprised us. The little balcony was lovely to sit on and watch people going about their day. The location was excellent providing access to day and night life without any noisy drawbacks.

Initial access was a little unclear - there's a small sign on the door between a couple of shops and you need to buzz to be provided entry. There were no notes to do this at the door (which makes sense!) but making this clear before hand would have been helpful. Nothing that a quick phonecall didn't solve and once you were checked in you're provided with the keycode.

excellent location in the old quarter and shops with a 40 second walk to the sea front. Staff were wonderful. family run business. Nothing was a problem for them . Small rooms but clean and tidy every day. Hotel is unmanned during evenings and there is a code for the front door. Not really a problem though. There are only five rooms in total.

five flights of stairs to get to the hotel door. It didn't bother me but could be a problem for some people. The shower and wash facility are in the same room as the bed. Only a glass partition screened the shower off. Once again, It didn't bother me as I was alone but It may bother other couples. It was very clean and the landlady cleaned the room every morning.

Superb newly renovated tastefully. One should note that there are about 60 stains as it is on third floor NO LIFT Fist access is impossible until one has the code which should be given to you before entry.. Staff welcoming and efficient. Breakfast is extra and is continental adequate with fresh orange juice ,best croissant ever, with fresh bread and preserve tea and of coffee served in room. or from tea/coffee tray provided in room The small balcony of the room onto very nice street was a good place to breakfast. Easy access to Nice City and efficient transport systems and easy walk to Promenade des Anglais

Easier access system and number of steps

Our stay was amazing. Everything was even better than we expected. The room was clean and big enough for one week stay. The staff was really kind and always smiling. They cleaned the room every day and make sure everything was good with us. Location of the suites is perfect. The area is pretty and clean and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The beach is in walking distance. All in all we give 5 stars to these suites and would happily come back again. Thanks again! ♡

Location was excellent, it was in the centre of town. Toilets and shower were great. There was a nice balcony. Great aircon for a summery day. Safe location and multiple levels of security needed to access the flat.

Sound proofing in the flat could certainly use some work, we were often woken up in the morning by various noises in the hallway. Breakfast was not included, despite being mentioned in the booking. There was a bit of a smell in the hallways.

It's hard to find a large, comfy bed in Europe but this place had that and a 5-star hotel quality room. The owner was amazingly accommodating, helping with laundry, cleaning each day, and just very friendly.

Not much to complain about. This is a small place (maybe 5-6 rooms total), so if you're looking for a large hotel with a gym/pool/rooftop/etc, then this isn't for you but I found it to be perfect.

Beautifully decorated room right in the center of restaurants and shops, and a stone's throw from the beach. The entry can be a bit confusing as is not a normal hotel lobby, etc, but just direct entry into an apartment building off the street, and a bit unclear what buzzer to ring. The Trianon rooms occupy half the building's second floor. Once we were in, all was excellent - the owners are very nice, our room was perfect and just as shown in the pictures, shower was great quality (and its transparent glass direct to the room was fun to put on a show for your partner, if that's your thing), and walking around the neighborhood is just lovely. Not much parking in the area, nor great ability to approach by car in a highly pedestrian area, but we were able to reserve a spot at Nice Etoile Parking (part of a shopping center), which is a 10 minute walk aawy

I loved all about the property which is why I prolonged my stay several times and spend 4 weeks there all together. The rooms are furnished very tastefully, stylishly and modernly, but are also thought through and comfortable. Everything is kept very clean and smells well. The host is a wonderful and caring person who accommodates her guests in the most heartwarming manner and tries to fulfill all your individual wishes. The location is very nice too - it is very close to the beach, the street is calm and tidy, without cars but just lovely elegant boutiques and very central (the Carré d’Or). I felt very at home and will remember my stay in the most formidable way, hoping to return some time soon again.

The location is stunning and to be so close to the promenade and shopping was divine. A short walk to old Nice. Wonderful position.

I like everything and the family were so helpful. Yes there are steps to get your luggage up but the family carried and helped. So kind and thoughtful and helpful. I mucked up my booking and their assistance was stunning.

No real complaints. I have a 9 instead of a 10 because only paper cups were provided for the coffee and tea maker, and one bed-side light wasn’t working, the ‘candle’ was out of batteries and the safe was locked. none of it a bug deal but just enough to not award a 10.
