The hotel is in a great location, almost directly in front of Gare de I'est station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit small in my particular room, but the water was nice and hot. The place was clean. My only issue was with the elevator; it was way too small. This hotel is not suited for people with mobility issues. A bonus is that just outside the hotel is a bus stop. Catch #32 and it will take you straight to the Trocadero, which gives you great views of the Eifel Tower and is only a couple minutes walk to the tower itself. I highly recommend this hotel for a short stay of 2 or 3 nights.

They should advertise the place as not being suitable for people with mobility issues, because of the elevator.

Close to Gare de L'Est. Metro gate is front of hotel easy access. Many delicious French restaurants. Also the Fastfood Gank: Burger kings McD KFC. Good value price for this summer

Very tiny small room and the alley each floor very close each other but its like this condition. Take it or Leave it

1. Loved my window’s view. Was a perfect Parisienne view with the Tour Eiffel on the right. 2. The room wasn’t big but it was enough and it didn’t feel too small for us. 3. Also very clean. Nothing bad to say about the cleaning and the cleaning ladies were very friendly. 4. The receptionists were also very friendly. Nothing bad to say. 5. The location was very good too with everything on hand. With metro, train, mini markets and super markets, lots of cafés, restaurants, also pharmacy, McDonalds and Burger King. Very good 6. Price was good with good conditions.

I liked that the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The location of the hotel was convenient to us considering we took the train to the city. The hotel room and lobby were kept neat and clean. The small room also had a nice window where you could see out into the street, it had a nice little view. The hotel room also came equipped with curtains that blocked the outside brightness extremely well therefore we were able to sleep peacefully. The hotel room also had a comforter available for warmth and comfort.

I did not like how small the elevator was but I assume all hotels in France are small. I also did not like that the doors to the hotel rooms shut very loudly. We heard many doors shutting loudly constantly through the entire night. I also did not like that the mattress was too hard.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location meant that we could walk to Montmartre or the Louvre, and the metro was nearby if we needed it. Breakfast was plentiful and the croissants delicious! The price was reasonable for Paris.

Although we had no problem with the stairs, some people might find them a bit much (the antique elevator is very small). The neighborhood is very noisy at night with people shouting and arguing, which would be a problem in the summer if you wanted to leave the window open - obviously nothing the staff can do anything about.

The furniture in the room was not new (some reviewers complain), however I didn't see this as something to complain about and in fact gave the rooms a nice ambiance imho. In any case I came to see Paris and not spend any time in the room. I met three members of staff while I stayed. Two were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help (certainly not at all rude as some complain). The beds/bedding and towels were new looking and spotlessly clean. The bathrooms (we had two rooms) were surprisingly large, very well renovated and clean. Ok, they were a bit basic, but nothing I would complain about. Breakfast was not only available, but also good value for money (given the location). A croissant, half baguette (with butter and jam), a pot of pureed apple, glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee/tea or hot chocolate. There was no hint of a curfew as mentioned in some reviews (in fact we were explicitly told the reception was staffed all night). In short, I'd definitely book again.

After reading the reviews on Google I have to admit that I was expecting the worst when arriving at the hotel. To be honest I would have not booked in the first place if I had seen the reviews earlier. The rooms were indeed a bit small but anyone who knows the real estate prices in Paris will know why. There was quite a bit of noise from outside (police sirens amongst other things) and from other rooms, but we were tired every night and I slept like a baby. The WiFi had a very slow response time so was no good for VPN or bookings. Some social media would be possible if you were patient. On the positive, the 4G mobile signal was excellent. There were gaps under some of the bathroom doors, so if that bothers you then book a single room.

A great spot for a great price... a couple great restaurants meters away, and a strip of fab restaurants a tiny walk away. Lovely old building with an old school elevator. If you're high up enough, great view with Eiffel tower lit up at night (far distance). Subway so close, on the same block. Rooms small and basic, but not without charm (not cheap, generic furniture, but not too fan either).

It's not the best part of town, but amazingly close to everything, without spending a fortune. If you're looking for a high end spot in town, this isn't it.

That was super cool hotel, amazing position right next to metro station, a lot of romantic cafes and restaurants nearby, small shops. The room was very clean, convenient, beautiful view from the window, warm inside the room, clean and comfortable bath. Very authentic elevator 😂 personal was very friendly and helpful

It was rather noisy at night. A lot of people shouting in the streets, but maybe it happened because it was weekend…

The view was stunning and more than we expected, the rooms were very nice and so was the personnel. We didn't have breakfast but will try next time! Thank you very much for your kindness.

. The location of the hotel is super, with the metro and bus stations literally at the doorstep of the hotel. Gare de l'Est is only a hundred meters away, and Gare du Nord is on the next corner. The hotel is small and cozy with sound-proof windows isolating the room from the noise outside. Linens and towels are changed daily, and the staff are very nice and wouldn't hesitate to help.

. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that the rooms are not air-conditioned. The hotel equipped the room with a big fan, but the weather was very hot during my stay.
