This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. I came back because of the friendliness of the reception staff, the comfy bed, good shower and perfect location for me. However, the second time, it was the Fete de la Musique (when all hell breaks loose in Paris.) It wasn't such a great night because of unbearable noise. Also the price had almost doubled because of the Fete.

The rooms are really clean and comfy, but the entrance and foyer need a bit of TLC. It looks quite shabby from the outside and the foyer has seen better days. This in no way detracts from the friendly welcome, but it wouldn't cost much to give it a lick of paint.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff took very good care of our belongings and even let us deposit our luggage before check-in as we arrived early. The breakfast was overly positive for a fair price - great selection! Our room for two was very small but also comfy. We could even spot the Eiffel Tower from our window! Lastly, the Gare de L’Est main station is only three minutes away so you can easily get around Paris!

The room cleaning schedule sometimes overlapped with breakfast times so we happened to run into the employees. It wasn’t always easy to communicate without some knowledge of French. Also, grocery stores were quite difficult to find nearby.

The receptionist was nice ,room clean,comfortable bed .. but because I booked a single room ....no elevator until the first floor...nobody to help....do it yourself day🙄

Location is good. Easy to go to train stations and travel by metro, restaurants/bars/supermarkets/bakeries are in walking distance. Staffs are friendly. Room is clean, bed is comfortable. Water pressure is strong. Breakfast is ok, even though not many things to choose, on peak hours can be busy. There is a beautiful garden in front of the hotel, nice to sit there when it is nice weather.

I asked for quiet room, they gave me the room (on the back side) that was between stairs and lift. I arrived on Friday evening, it was quiet, hardly heard any noise from stairs/lift... But then on Monday morning, there was loud noise of kids. That second, I just realized that the back of the hotel faced a (primary?) school, kids were shouting on their class-breaks. But if closed window, then did not hear anything much. Another thing is, bad smell came up from the shower drain. If you cover the drain with a bowl or small towel, then it helps with the smell.

Location is amazing, right near the train station. The staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. They changed our room when we realised the safe didn’t work with no worries, which ended up being an upgrade. Late check out included and though very centrally located, not very noisy. Would recommend!

We liked the property, no complaints.

Check-in was extremely efficient and completed in 2 minutes. The lady at reception was very friendly. The room was comfortable, the bed was great and the bathroom was clean. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, less than 5 minutes from the Gare de l'Est, which is one of the reasons I chose it. I had stayed in that area a few years ago but this hotel is definitely better than the ones I used before. I just needed somewhere quiet to sleep for one night and this hotel ticked all the right boxes!

Fantastic location, so convenient for Eurostar (10 min walk or 1 stop on metro to Gare de L’Est then a 2 min walk) fantastic location for getting all over Paris very easily. My room was spotless- thank you house keeping! Very comfortable, shower fantastic.

The hotel was well situated by Canal St Martin, comfortable and good shower rooms. Clean and welcoming

Maintenance needs to check tvs are working, bedside lights too. Had to change room as to not working but was done very promptly and much better view. Staff were very helpful and responded quickly

location to the canal, parks, metro, etc. lots of nearby restaurants. also was just around the block from where our family had an apartment.

air conditioning did not work the first night and it was very uncomfortable. Hot and no air moving. got fixed and worked great on days two and three.
