Nice view from our 3rd floor window of the Eiffel Tower. Very close to the Eiffel Tower area and restaurants etc. Great that the receptionist was able schedule hotel taxi when leaving to the airport, taxi guy really cool.

The frig was not very cool our drinks overnight barely chilled, but that appears the case in all of Europe ice cubes/bucket. are non existant. Even in the grocery stores refrigerated items aren't very cooled as in the USA. We went in May so the weather was fine but the hotel did have an air conditioner in the room. We tried to turn if on, just to see and couldn't find any switch anywhere to turn it on. We kinda thought that the breakfast was included. There was signage mentioning the Breakfast hours but no mention of Price noted. It was a basic European Breakfast that a majority of the hotels in Europe provide. We had some pastries and a coffee. As we left to get in our taxi the receptionist ran out to stop us and told us that we owned $5 for the breakfast. coffee.

The location is amazing. Convenient to the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, the metro, and several shops and restaurants. The staff and service were all very friendly and spoke English well, which was very nice. Surprise view of the Eiffel Tower by simply opening the window and leaning out a bit to see it. Very cool! Excellent value for the money in an otherwise pricier area of Paris.

Unfortunately, the twin beds were uncomfortable for me, but my daughter had no issues with hers. The room is quite small but was as expected. The bathroom was fine for toileting and bathing, but is tough to change clothes in. Felt like Chris Farley on an airplane in Tommy Boy.

Beautiful view of Tower Eiffel, centre location and nearby metro connection to Champs Elysees and Louvre, tasty croissants for breakfast, warm room

The staff were lovely, the room was brilliant (we requested a view of Eiffel Tower and they managed to fulfil our request!), air con in the room was amazing (and needed in July!). Location is perfect, cleanliness was absolutely fine, we really enjoyed our trip and would recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

The only thing we thought could be slightly better was the breakfast. Whilst it was absolutely fine and we ate it each day, it was a little bland and could do with a bit more variety. We’ve found this to be the case at most hotels though, ultimately when you take the hotel breakfast it tends to be for convenience rather than anything else. The staff at breakfast were really nice!

Perfect location for visiting the sites in the 5th and7th.. There is a lovely, pedestrian only market close by and a ton of restaurants and cafe's. Easy walk to the Eiffel and other notable sites. A good spot for the price.

Room was a bit small but most in Paris are. Rooms are a bit outdated but expected for the price.

The location was fabulous, great neighbourhood, surrounded by cafes and amenities. The staff were really helpful and attentive. Views of the Eiffel Tower from some rooms, and other rooms facing the interior courtyard, which made it quiet and private.

Breakfast in an underground room, soulless and dull. The foyer had a weird smell like cat wee, but this was only in the entrance.

Hotel is in a great location, especially for the Eiffel Tower (you can see it from the front door of the hotel and it's a 10 minute walk). Lively area so always felt safe. Bed and pillows very comfortable with a great bath/shower. Good air-con too.

Yann and ALL the staff were very nice people including the people who served great breakfast in the morning. Hotel Derby is a great hotel close to restaurants and taxi rides, etc. We'll be staying there when in Paris. Thank you everyone! Hope to see you again soon! Take care and God bless you all!

Good, reasonably central location close to Metro station and with impressive view of the Eiffel Tower Nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choice Computer available for use in foyer - very rare nowadays Seemed excellent value for money (although way out of season)
