The location of Hotel Gerando is hard to beat. It was only about a 10 min walk from Gare du Nord which is super convenient for both the Eurostar and the airports. At the same time, it is only 5 mins away from the bottom of the Sacre Coeur stairs, so super convenient for Montmartre but not nearly as crowded. Staff was lovely and the room was clean.

This did not affect me or my partner, but I would strongly recommend against staying here if you have any mobility issues, large luggage and/or claustrophobia. The lift was extremely small--only big enough for two people at once. I think it would be hard to fit even one person with a large suitcase. What's more, the lift is on the landing between floors, so there are quite a few steps that are not avoidable.

Hi for the metro to get any were in the city perfect and cheap rooms are small but your not there to stay in your room ur there to explore get the big bus tour and let it show paris metro close perfect food and bars all around and next to a big attraction go there for sun set and experience the music breakfast is a must so u don't have to buy out there is every thing for the cheapness off breakfast it's a must fresh orange bread eggs milk tea coffy literally we'll worth it will.be stay in there again

Perfect and safe location, and the bed was incredibly comfortably. A lovely Juliet balcony. Close to 2 Metro stops with 1-stop access to Gare du Nord which can then take you anywhere. Walking distance to the Moulin Rouge. About 20 mins on Metro to major landmarks like the Louvre, Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower.

The room is European size and the en-suite a tight space. If you’re not used to European sized hotel rooms, you would find the room quite small, but it’s actually all the space you need if you don’t plan on being in the room for your entire trip. Enough space for luggage, sleeping and getting ready.

Room is good size. Comfortable beds. Great central location, near the metro. Good affordable food options in the area. Felt safe at night to go out, no problems with the area. Breakfast was very good, lots of options including eggs and sausage. Overall great place to stay. Room is very clean no issues with that. There was an electric clothes dryer which is great. Great views from the windows. Would definitely go back again.

Some noise from street but it's Paris central location to be expected, some earplugs solve the problem.

The location was excellent close to Monmatre and Sacre Coeur and the Anvers metro from which it was easy to get everywhere The rooms were small but clean and recently decorated. We had a small balcony. The water was very hot for showers.

There is refurbishment going on so the hotel is covered in scaffolding and work on the building with hammers and drills starts promptly at am Paper cups in the rooms were a bit flimsy. The lift stops on the half landing so you have to carry your cases down a few stairs.

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags so we didn't have to carry them around Paris. The location was perfect. Excellent transport links and restaurants in close proximity. Very good base for exploring Paris. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Paris

The front of the hotel is currently under construction so not the most welcoming entrance. The lift and corridors are very small and narrow. If you are claustrophobic perhaps best to avoid. These are very minor things though. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is placed in the perfect location and very close to the Anvers Metro line and Sacré Coeur, a popular tourist attraction. We had a twin room which was beautifully decorated, very modern, clean and had all the amenities you need. We literally had THE BEST nights sleep here and even a cheeky afternoon nap too! The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful too. The rooms are fairly small but it's only a bed for the night as exploring the city was the most important thing for this trip. That said, it really did exceed expectations and made the stay more pleasant having somewhere pretty and comfortable to stay.

Nothing really. There was scaffolding around the hotel, we didn't hear any noise but I'm gutted I couldn't see the beautiful building underneath.

The location in Montmartre ist great and also well connected by public transportation. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is fully renovated and we had a nice balcony to a typical parisian street. The neighbourhood is quiet and nice to walk around.

The room was rather small, but that was no problem for us. Due to the building structure, the elevator stops only between floors, so there are always a few steps left to access the rooms. Again, no problem for us. The breakfast buffet was rather good, but a bit pricey.

I recommend Hotel Gerando with all confidence. It is in a great location, near the Sacre Coeur Basilica, 2 minutes from Anvers metro station. The room was clean, the breakfast varied, the staff particularly kind. Even if the facade is under renovation, the evening was quiet and you could rest. There are many terraces and shops in the extremely chic streets around the hotel. I will definitely return to this hotel.

Everything was ok.

The location is awesome. Located in a quiet street at the foot of Sacre Coeur with small cafés and a weekly market just around the corner. We walked almost everywhere but for those who want to take the metro instead, there are two stations in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. We had a room with a small balcony but never used it.

For us it wasn't a big deal but people with heavy luggage and people with health issues should know that the elevator is mid-level of the staircase. You will have to climb approx. 10 stairs before you can enter the elevator and another 10 stairs to get to the hallway of your floor.
