The hostel staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception was open at all times.

The common facilities (dining room, entrance would benefit from renovation). The room was in a very good state and nicely decorated.

Nice place to catch some shuteye without having to spend an arm and a leg (considering it's Paris). Really well connected to the public transportation network (metro station and bus stop just down the street). I got to the Eiffel Tower in no time. The historic building where the hostel is located has the air (or aura) of something right out of a novel by one of the great French writers from the 19th century: Hugo, Flaubert, Dumas, or Balzac.

Did not have time for much interaction with other people there: I'm sure they're all fine, decent people, except for the bas… Guest who snatched my bed while I was out, visiting the Eiffel Tower. He stole my towel too. Used! Luckily, I was given two towels as compensation by the super friendly and nice reception guy. Beware – the lift is very cramped and claustrophobic

Alex checked me in, and remembered I wanted to practise my French and was friendly whenever I saw him. Other staff were also really friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for what I wanted to do (visit Moulin Rouge and Montmartre in general) and was conveniently close to several metro stops for when I wanted to head elsewhere. Really good breakfast. Free wifi. It wasn't too noisy but it was also easy to meet people in the dorm and common areas. Lockers for valuables in the dorm were great, providing you had a long shackle padlock, which thankfully I did! Free baggage storage if you need it before/after check out. All in all it was excellent. I would happily stay here again.

Very minor issues in the ensuite bathroom: the sink was very slow to drain, there was no soap and the hairdryer was one of those wall ones that should stop when you replaced the handheld bit, but it wouldn't stop and sometimes would start by itself. The bathroom lock was also not 100% effective.

Great vibe on the place and really nice staff :)

There was a guy that snored like a tractor

Incredible location. Very close to Eurostar and metro train stations. Can see Sacré-Coeur from the deck area! Clean sheets and aircon made for a comfortable sleep with the heat outside. Friendly staff at reception

The bunks were the type which moved a lot if one person moved - so if someone on the top bunk rolled over, the person on the bottom got rocked like a boat. But that’s pretty standard for bunks, and typically what you get in a hostel! There were no individual lamps and minimal power points in the room, which did make it a bit awkward at times.

It was my second stay at this Hostel. The first one was horrible, because it was super noisy due to terrace outside and lack of hygiene in the shared female room plus really bad smell in the bathroom, but I wanted to give it a second chance. This time I booked a private room. The room was warm, the double bed was super comfy, and at night the surroundings were queit. The bathroom was also fine this time. Special thanks to the staff! Just like the last time, you were awesome! Chuan/ Juan (sorry if I made a mistake), you are awesome person and I wish you the best for your ability to find the common ground with new people and welcome guests with such a warm and positive vibe.

-Online communication. I wanted a room with a view to Sacre Coeur, but didn't know which one to book. I messaged the hostel two days in a row before arrival, but nobody replied. When I checked out I asked about it once again and they told that I should book Superior room for the next time. Anyway, it wasn't essential, but the thing is that they didn't check the messages. - The hygiene was again the huge minus. 100eur for a night to get someone's long black hair on a new towel, bed sheet, pillow, floor, even in the shower, and something similar to dandruff on a bed. Again, this place needs improvement in house keeping. At first I thought that nobody bothered changing the sheets after the last guest that stayed in the room. What happened in here, guys?

The location, the terrace, & staff were incredible! Felt so welcomed & very safe in the area. Breakfast was convenient. Grocery stores right on the block. Metro access within a 5 Min walk. Spent every morning & evening on the steps of the Sacre Coeur as it is just a block away!

Beds were noisy - especially in dorms this was inconvenient to not wake others. Wish the lockers were bigger for valuables. Also had a musty smell in the room didn’t feel the cleanest.

The hostel is one of a few affordable places for backpackers in Paris and literally located just around the corner from Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre. From the two train stations, Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, there is a bus and a metro which get you directly to the hostel. The staff is very nice and helpfull, one of them even speaks german, and there is a kitchen where you can cook and leave your drinks or other stuff in the fridge. On the first floor there is a nice terrace with a view on the famous church mentioned above. There are also two supermarkets and some good bakeries around (try Marcel's!).

The AC was a bit noisy.

The staff in the front desk and breakfast service was really nice and helpful 👍. I cannot say the same about the manager. Very convenient location

Strong smell to sewer in the shower Toilet was also super smelly (urine)

absolutely loved this hostel! myself and my husband stayed in a private double room which was decorated beautifully. the room was cleaned by the time we got back in the evening and staff were super super helpful. Would 100% stay here again! Thank you 😀👍🏻❤️

the room was smaller than expected, the shower and lift was incredibly tiny but didn’t cause any issues. I found a little dust / hairs in the bathroom but again not much of an issue. 😀
