The location is great. Not to crowded and still plenty of nice bars and restaurants around. The hotel is very cozy, soft carpet in the room, good bed, darkening curtains, clean and relaxing shower.

We booked because the hotel had a sauna, but the staff at the counter did not have any info on the spa area and it appeared to be an extra paying service, which was not mentioned in advance. I went to check the fitness area and it smelled very most. Another desk member got the amount to be payed for the stay wrong and we had to pay extra at the end. Very kind and willing staff members but not trained well.

Hotel is in a great area, has a great vibe and is very welcoming. I would choose the same hotel next time I'm in town.

Nothing we didn't like. We would suggest putting some more hangers in the bathroom (there was only 1), and for the coffee pods to be filled daily instead of having to ask everyday. But really those are small things and overall we were Very happy!

The bed was extremely comfortable. My room felt really clean (no weird smells either), the bathroom was nice with a good-sized shower. The front desk people were kind and friendly. They also allowed me to store my luggage until I had to leave for my plane.

The breakfast really wasn’t worth the price so I probably wouldn’t pay for that again (it was voluntary to choose to eat breakfast there).

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ample with enough choices to give us a good start to each day. The location near the Republic Metro station made transportation very convenient. We loved the neighborhood - it was convenient and it had what we needed, yet it felt more like a local neighborhood than a tourist neighborhood. It was a good value (especially given it was New Year's weekend in Paris).

As some other reviews mentioned, the bedroom and toilet areas were small. The shower, sink and clothing storage areas were good sizes. If we had expected to spend time in our room, the room size would have been challenging, but WE WERE IN PARIS! Hotel Marais Home was exactly what we needed (clean, a comfy bed, good location, helpful and pleasant staff, all at an appropriate value)!

Superb location near several metro stops - never more then 20 mins or so from the main sights. Surrounding area has lots of restaurants, bakeries, shops and cafes/bars within walking distance. We booked a superior room but got upgraded to a more spacious duplex so had plenty of room! Ideal base for a few nights.

The shower area is quite small, though normal for Paris, so if you’ve a larger frame/ are tall you may struggle. The stairs in our duplex room, were quite steep - you need your wits about you when negotiating at night.

staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location couldn’t be better, near great shops, and restaurants, and two blocks from Republique metro.  appreciated the noise, proofing windows, and the light blocking curtains.

Would’ve liked a bit more variety at breakfast, but the choices were adequate. I also would’ve liked a mini fridge in the room, but the staff were willing to store our items in the main fridge.

Brilliant location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, quiet and well-equipped with everything one may need while being on holiday. The bed linen and towels were brilliant white and mattresses really clean and comfortable... just a perfect stay! We will certainly go back to this hotel!

Not a real issue - at times water splashed/ran out of the walk-in shower, so perhaps one could install an additional splash guard or a rubber protector between the tiles and the bottom of the glass to prevent water from running out.

Really good location, near good shops and restaurants, with close metro nearby. The room was very clean and I was able to check in early, which was an unexpected bonus.

The room is very small, so I wouldn't stay here if I wasn't travelling alone. The AC would would also turn off in the middle of the night, which made the room really hot. I woke up a few times to turn it back on and it would turn off again after 2h or so.

Great location, a few steps away from Republique square which connects to several metro and bus lines, providing easy access to pretty much any parts of Paris. Also easy walking distance from Canal Saint Martin and the Marais. The hotel/ room are clean, the team is very helpful and welcoming. Great terrace looking over Paris rooftops!

The hotel room is small, although including a private bathroom and big comfortable bed. The bed takes up the whole space basically with little room for the suitcases even. The patio on the main floor and terrace over Paris rooftops makes it up for it though!

This was the second time staying at this hotel. It’s great. Rooms are VERY SMALL. Complimentary free cold water bottles on request. Coffee in the lobby. Excellent location to republique metro station for east of access to sight see.

Room was on small side and the shower leaked all over the floor. Easy fix for the hotel. Again this is my second stay at this property and I’d stay again.
