The room was very comfortable, a real 4 star feel. Lovely products in the bathroom! The rooms were not noisy in that the location was loud it was just the normal doors distantly slamming you could hear etc but MUCH better than many places where the walls are like paper. The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Bear in mind that if you order a taxi in advance there's a 7 Euro charge for doing so! Location was on the edge of the Marais and in a quiet street very close to two Metro stops and a bus stop.

The rooms are small which is something to understand about Parisienne hotels. Our twin beds were next to each other so as I was with my child it was fine but probably if I had been with a friend it would have been a bit intrusively close! the breakfast was fine but don't expect a massive buffet. It was all good quality. The breakfast staff were grumpy though!

Every single staff member made us feel cared for and looked after - they were so friendly, made us laugh, and wanted the best for our stay. We were able to leave our luggage with reception at the start and end of our stay. The decoration of the hotel was very chic, and spotlessly clean. It was great to access water (including sparkling) and the coffee machine whenever we wanted. Our room was so comfortable - quite compact, but it suited us fine for a weekend. The added treat of using the sauna and hammam spa was great, after two long days of walking around Paris. The location was perfect, Oberkampf is such a great spot and we walked to most places we wanted to get to. Amazing drink and food spots round there too.

We have no negative comments.

Location is superb. Very close to two solid metro stations with good accessibility throughout the city. Close to many of the best restaurants in the city and Boulangerie Utopie, a top boulangerie in the city. The hotel itself is very quiet and well-decorated and the air conditioned rooms are a godsend after long summer days in the Parisian heat.

The bathrooms are tight and would benefit from replacing the bathtub with a standup fully-enclosed shower as the half-glass around the tub results in significant water ending up on the bathroom floor. The only way to avoid is to either draw a traditional bath or tilt the shower head toward the front of the tub and cross your fingers that most of the water stays inside the tub. Housekeeping could have been more consistent too. Bed sheets were changed once during our two-week stay, bar of handsoap was never refreshed during the stay, had to ask the front desk for additional toilet paper and facial tissue. All minor inconveniences at most.

A Room was available earlier, about midday. After a whole night of travel, it was precious and priceless. The staff is kind, attentive and efficient. A room has almost everything you want from 4 stars... You have a free and quality beens coffee in the lobby... 24h for 7. The hotel is situated in a quiet street close to a lot of restaurants and attractions.

Small size of standard room (you are in Paris, please don't stay in yours room...) In a very small size bathroom, the poliban in the shower cabin could be dangerous for slipping and falling.

We arrived early after spending the night on a train, and a friendly staff person asked housekeeping to get our room ready and let us check in early. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very nicely decorated and very clean. Shower and bathroom were great. Window that opened onto the street was a bonus! Breakfast was wonderful. Can't say enough good things about this hotel!

Location was a little far from the river and Paris tourist attractions, but it was walkable within a half hour or so. Desk staff showed us the quickest and most direct route to get there.

The location of Le Mareuil is excellent. It’s within a 5 to 7 minute walk of the Metro station. There are several cafe, bars and restaurants all around the Place République . Upon arrival, we asked about nearby bakeries and grocery stores. The clerk showed us the way. There’s an amazing small bakery called Utopie that has the best breads, pastries and sandwiches. We did not use the hotel breakfasts as we don’t est much for breakfast so we got sliced bread from the bakery, and cheese, milk and drinks ( including wine) from nearby ( within 2 minutes of the hotel). This was our second visit to Le Mareuil. We were here last June and returned this May because of the satisfaction we had here. The reception staff are for the most part very friendly, helpful and attentive. There was on,y one woman who seemed disinterested and who spoke so fast that we couldn’t understand her. I am bilingual and speak fluent a French yet couldnt figure out what she said.

The cleaning staff did a good job cleaning the room and bathroom. But they left our used water and wine glasses for three days. We had to ask the reception for clean ones. We also ran out of tissues and had to ask for more.

The room is comfortable and modern. Location ideal as it is only a few mins walk from two different stations. Plenty of restaurants nearby to eat out at. We got the top floor room- and it is very very quiet (and this is coming from a super light sleeper). Staffs are all very nice and helpful and responsive. They were also extremely accommodating in letting us store our luggage for 1 day before our stay begins.

The location is great. Close to subway and lots of is easily walkable. The Marais is filled with great restaurants, cafes and cocktail bars. Very friendly staff at Le Mareuil! Was hoping to polish up my French but everyone spoke perfect English. Both public spaces and rooms are well designed. Room is super quiet. Every day the staff did an amazing job cleaning the room.

I honestly was not in love with the coffee machine in the breakfast area, but I realize I am a coffee snob. The perfect breakfast made up for it though. Sometimes you just need a coffee to get to your coffee and there are some nice espresso bars in the vicinity.

Really great stay. Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom. comfy and quiet. Splendid location near Republique and easily connected to all the areas in Paris. Complimentary water bottles (flat and sparkling every day) complimentary coffee in the reception area.

Would be great to have a coat hanger at the entrance of the room. There are two cabinets in teh room. One gone totally for the minifridge and safe, and one just had hangers in it. There are no shelves to put your clothes on.
