The hotel staff went above and beyond to make us welcome- Louis when we got to the hotel then, Janus, made sure we had anything we needed. Ibrahim with the lovely welcome note on behalf of the hotel- they all tried to do something to make us welcome. It was really nice and special, not too commercial but also had a lovely location in the middle of Paris. The hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and drinks for our honeymoon and extra locitane goodies. So I would rate the experience and staff as excellent. Thanks guys

Hmm, very little here. Of course everyone would like a better deal with the price, but it's Paris so the price was perhaps commensurate to the city.

Super central but in a quite street. Generous smiling staff, helping with everything you need and very welcoming. The room was big! comparing to other places in Paris. It was super fresh, clean, stylish, big bed. the checkout is very late which was super convenient for us (12pm) and we could also leave our luggage there until our departure.

The big bed was actually two beds combining. In the morning, there was no hot water in the shower :( we had to call the front desk and they quickly solved the problem (10mins). It was a small problem that they solved super quick and also offered free breakfast for us for the situation.

This hotel stands in the Parisian scene. North of Le Marais but walkind distance, the hotel is close to Place Republique. Different to many prior experiences, the staff did everything to make you stay a very pleasant one. A few days before my chech in a received an e-mail with restaurant recommendations, cafés, etc in the area. This was extremely helpfull since we had lunch and dinner in nearby restaurants which were recommended by the staff and deliver. The decor is fantastic and the size of the room was large for parisian standards. The breakfast was fantastic, full of options. Will certainly return on my next trips to Paris.

Nothing. Probably the price is a little expensive, but Paris is very expensive

The location is very good, close to two metro lines, and conveniently located not in a main street, but nearby, so quite quiet. There are a lot of food options nearby as well. The beds were wonderfully soft and we had welcome drinks + chocolates. Daily housekeeping and replenishments of coffee capsules + water + toiletries. Everyone on the staff was super receptive and helpful, giving us excellent tips on local food and places to go. The lobby is well decorated and the couches very comfortable, making the wait for the train more pleasant.

The bedroom is a bit small, however it is kind of a given in Paris. The TV is not so recent so it lacks some apps like Youtube/Netflix. A bit of a nitpick but the toilet seat is a bit higher than most hotels I've been to.

The hotel is in a great location just a block or two away from Republique Square. The lobby is friendly, the bar area is nice and there are little candies scattered around the lobby for your enjoyment. I've stayed in times past and the staff members remembered me and welcomed me back with open arms. On the ground level, there is a small gym with sauna (controlled by the front desk) and toilets with actual hand towels! It's the small touches for me.

The only thing that I would be aware of...the hotel is just a block from Republique Square and if you know anything about Paris, thats where all of the protests happen. There are times that you may not always be able to access the hotel via car because some of the roads are blocked from the protests. This isn't something that the hotel can control, you just need to be aware if you a guest.

I stood there on three different dates with my travel to Paris. I wanted to come back to the same hotel since I would be traveling with you in France. I checked out and traveled around France, and came back, where I had the opportunity to stay in 3 different layouts. I got the breakfast; it was a great option to have. The team members were AMAZING!!!!!!!! When I arrived super early, I was met by Luiz, who went above and beyond and provided me with a coffee and croissant to eat and took the time to explain the subway with handwritten notes - places to see and food to taste! Thomas was there when I was traveling super early and would walk me out to get my cab and give me directions! Ekaterina was there for my last night, and we looked at the restaurant so I could enjoy the Paris view and fantastic atmosphere. THANK YOU to the entire team for making me feel at home, as well as Gaelle and Yanis.. the rooms were clean and very central to everything.

Everything was great

I have loved everything about my stay at Le General Hotel. From Eugenia (room maid), Ekaterina, Marwan, Ibrahim, and all their others colleagues. They’re all Wonderful Human Beings. It’s the first time that I have met such a kind, customer service oriented, wonderful, genuine and smiley team. The hotel is very well placed in Paris, very central to do your shopping and sightseeing. The amenities were very clean, well decorated and original. I loved the place and I will come back for sure

Nothing is to dislike about the property

Le Général's personnel is the best you can expect. Extraordinary willingness to help is delightful and will be remembered forever. The breakfast is great and interior is funny, interesting and cozy. Our basic level room was quite compact and the double bed was narrow, yet ok.

In our room there was no fridge. Maybe that info was available somewhere when booking, but... The safe door could not be opened fully, so no laptops or iPad's can be stored there, I recommend this hotel anyway.

Outstanding quality of reception and concierge services. Attentive, friendly, effective. Our questions were not only answered quickly, but anticipated. Excellent restaurant recommendations. The hotel is located at a 5-min walk from the nearest metro station (République) in a surprisingly quiet side street. We were quite pleased wit the fitness facilities.

Relatively small rooms and relatively high prices - well: you're in Paris. Nothing else comes to my mind.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, during our honeymoon in Paris. I just want to say that our stay here was really amazing, starting from the rooms, which were really clean and cozy (the bed was really confortable), to the attention of staff to little details (such as writing the maid’s name, who cleaned our room, on a sheet of paper, on the bed), as well as free stuff offered (every day we would get in our room two bottles of water). Also the breakfast was great and variates and the staff very friendly. Overall, great experience! Truly recommend!
