Location was great, considering it was next to a train station we felt very safe. A lovely patisserie a few doors down which only cost is a couple of euros each for so we went there for breakfast rather than paying for the hotels. We stayed on the top floor and had an amazing view of the city and some gorgeous sunsets! We could see both the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur from the balcony. Free safe in the room too which was nice, air conditioning also. Bathroom was quite small but was clean and still nice. The staff all spoke good English and were super nice to us, made us feel very welcome.

Lift was small, only 2 people at a time but wasn’t a big deal.

Excellent location near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est. The breakfast was continental one as usual in France but perhaps worth of the 12 euros. WiFi was quite fast.

Room and especially shower were small. Water leaked under the shower cabinet door to the toilet floor. For some reason the TV turned itself on during two nights of three. The hot drink machine in breakfast room had some problem with coffee that was not fixed during my 3 night stay. Thus coffee was available only by using small capsule machine that was slow. A vacuum jug for coffee would have been better.

Excellent location for tavel to Paris. The staff are hospitable and courteous, provide good information and advice. Our room was on the 7th floor and had some good (partial) views over to Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur. The small balcony was an unexpecetd bonus. We expected the room to be small but it was very efficiently organised so this was not a problem at all. Plenty of food and drink choices around. Like every train station in the world the surrounding area at night feels a bit rough but we did not have any incident. When in Paris again, this is the hotel that we will stay!

Everything in our experience at the Libertel was excellent.

Perfect location for our requirements. A few minutes' walk from Gare du Nord (we travelled via Eurostar) and some great restaurants and little supermarkets nearby. Hotel was great - we were out all day and only in our rooms to sleep. Staff were friendly and professional, beds were comfy, cleanliness was excellent. We got an excellent price for two double/twin rooms for two nights. We had the breakfast the first morning to see what it was like - the spread wasn't extensive or fancy but what we had was nice, however, for 12 Euros per head, I would be inclined to get breakfast from the fantastic-looking bakery round the corner on the way to Gare du Nord. Overall, would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

Nothing really to dislike about the hotel.

Super friendly staff, all 3 staff we met with bright smile and are very professional. Great location with lots of eateries, about 500m (5 mins walk) to both Metro station and train station. Considerable big room (in Paris) and affordable price. We manage to open 3 huge luggages (29’) in a Triple Room and opening a 28’ luggage in double room with no problem. Toilet/ Shower/ bath tub are sparkling clean. Thank you for hosting your guest in this very friendly manner. We will be back!

The room was clean, quiet and perfect for a short stay for two persons. The ground-floor twin room had separable beds and just enough room to separate the two single beds. Friendly staff, nice and tidy lobby and quiet inner yard, despite some doubts we had initially. Immediate hotel surroudings a bit untidy, at walking distance from several nice restaurants and bars.

The room's air conditioning did not keep an even room temperature, which resulted in hotter and colder periods during the nights. During the day it seemed like all AC was off, which left the room a bit stuffy upon entering, but this was quickly fixed once the AC was turned on.

Close to Gare Du Nord train station. good size room and clean. Their breakfast was good.

The maid didn’t always replace tea/milk. it was extremely inconvenient after a long day out seeing the sites and no sugar and tea. I bought some myself. The area is listed as dangerous. That wasn’t my experience but you felt less safe in that area than areas closer to the centre of Paris.

Comfortable bed, small room but well equipped. I had a TINY room but others in my group had a larger one. Good location near gare to nord and gare de l'est, with lots of cafe's and restaurants nearby.

Lumpy pillows. The rooms are soundproofed against outside noise, but if someone is in the hallway you hear everything. Can be annoying if a noisy group decides to have a discussion in the hallway when you are trying to sleep.

Great location for switching trains at Gare du Nord or Gare de L'Est. The room was big enough for a one or two night stay. The room had a kettle/mini fridge. The hotel staff were exceptional. Good range of English speaking TV channels (but they are always news channels, of course).

The room was a bit cramped and there was a lack of storage space. Didn't matter for a night but I wouldn't want to stay much longer. Room 102 was a twin room and the shower/washbasin was in a separate room to the lavatory. Apparently, this only applies to room 102 and 402. It was quite a walk to either Montmartre or the Seine but of course I could have taken the metro.

I was surprised there was such a nice, safe hotel so close to the Gare du Nord! I will certainly use it again. The room had everything I needed (including a kettle, which is rare in France!), modern, fresh. The double glazing kept out the noise of the busy area - very important. Room a good temperature, comfortable bed. Nice breakfast, polite staff.
