I was looking for a hotel to land in for one night that was close to the Gare du Nord train station. I was arriving late on train from London and I really appreciated that this hotel accommodated my very late check-in with no problem. A desk clerk was there on arrival and quickly got me in and to my room. This hotel is old, but very pleasant and met all my requirements. My standards were not super high. The room was small, but suitable for one person. The bathroom was divided with a powder room on one side of the entry and the shower on the other. Wi-fi worked fine. Bed was comfortable. Coming in late and leaving very early, I didn't spend a lot of time there awake. If you don't mind an older but comfortable hotel, you'll find this one meets your needs nicely at a great price.

Hard to say too much since I wasn't there that long. Would have been nice to have had a blanket and an extra pillow, but I made do. If I had been there longer, I would have requested something.

Very good for what we paid. Location was very convenient for gare du nord, the staff were incredibly friendly, beds were very comfortable. Perfect for a cheap short stay or early train from gare du nord.

The wifi didn't reach our room very well, the lock on the door was very stiff and we found gum stuck to the headboard above the beds. For us, it wasn't a problem, but with it being so central there is a lot of noise from outside (sirens, shouting etc.).

Really good location with great views. For a two star hotel I didn't expect much but I was very pleasantly surprised. I booked a single room. Originally the room I was given the key didn't work and the electrics were all off so I was given another room straight away. My room came with a single bed, lights, a desk, a TV, a private shower room and a gorgeous view of the Garde Du Nord train station. 9/10

Location is great, right across the street from the Gare Du Nord, and a short walk from Gare d'Est and Poissonnaire stations. Many bakery/coffee shops and food options. As expected, it is a little noisy, there is activity and street noise till at least 3-3:30 am (but thats an advantage since you are jet-lagged and wake up during odd hours, you have something to see on the streets). Thanks to the location, we were able to use the Metro for all our traveling, and when in the room, we enjoyed our street view. We also went to a couple of the local bakeries for pastries and coffee, and dined locally for two nights we were here.

One suggestion might be to install shower curtains. One has to crouch in the bathtub to avoid making the bathroom floor wet while taking a shower.

Location. We visited all our Paris attractions using the Metro and Gare du Nord is right across the street and Poisonnaiare and Gare d'Est are a short walk away. Trains run frequently and well into the night, so it was super convenient. There are also a number of nice restaurants and coffee shops / bakeries but that is probably true of any Parisian neighborhood. We also got a room with a view of Rue de Dunkirque which may be off putting to some because of the street noise and activity that goes into the small hours of the morning, but we were jet lagged and tired from all the walking so we had no difficulty falling asleep. Plus if you do get up at odd hours because of jet lag, there is always something to see on the street below. The feel is that of a family owned hotel, and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There is really nothing not to like. Rooms are a bit old, but they are serviceable. Might be nice to put some shower curtains on the bath tubs though, it's a bit of a pain trying to take a shower without making the floor wet.

There was a problem with the coffee machine at breakfast but they reacted quickly and there was a different one next morning.

I booked almost three months in advance, making crystal clear that I wanted a two bed room, they agreed at the time. But when we got there, that room wasn’t available. Very frustrating, in the end after a long conversation we were moved to the room required.

The room was cosy and pleasent to return to. there is a couple nice breakfast places nearby. right next to gare du nord train station so arriving at night from the train was easy.

The bed was uncomfortable due to a sink in the middle. There was no kettle in the room. The location was a bit sketchy, the stuff warned us to hold our belongings tight while outside in the evning.

The staff were kind, responsive and welcoming. The overall experience was wonderful, with an easy and quick check-in and check-out. The room was more than enough for the time spent. Close to Gare Du Nord, Picardy Hotel is a great pick to explore Paris and have a good and relaxing sleep.

Well situated. Just opposite to Eurostar. All shops around. Good to stay for a short period of time. Good for single or couple. I don't think it is good for family with children. Staff are friendly 😁

Top location for tourists, just opposite the station and right next to the best bakery in the world! Do not expect the most luxury hotel but very good for the money

Would really benefit from bathroom renovation.
