I stayed here with my Mum and we both loved the hotel and its theme. The location is perfect; 1 minute walk from Gare du Nord train station. You are a short journey from the Charles de Gaulle airport and the station connects with several other metro lines, so you will be right next to a transport hub. A few times we walked from the center to our hotel, so if you prefer to walk, that is doable too. Though the area is busy during the day, it was really quiet at night. The hotel has a train theme, which we found to be really fun. It was also really clean and the staff were all consistently lovely and friendly with great English to help with requests or queries. Breakfast was pretty good. We are both vegan, so more vegan options would have been nice, but we still enjoyed our breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially if you like the train theme and are looking for a well-connected hotel that is reasonable, but very clean and well run.

I booked this hotel as a result of a cancellation of the sudden cancelation of my return from Paris to London. I booked the Eurostar the next morning so this hotel came up in my search as the closest available to Gare du Nord. It was very late at night into the early hours of a Monday morning and I was in quite distress after a very negative experience with the cancelation and a confrontation with a bus driver. The night receptionist instantly made me feel welcome and safe. He was very nice and kind, he went out of his way to find me a piece of fruit and a bottle of water. After a few hours rest, he also prepared a small breakfast bag so I could take on the first train our of Paris. He genuinely made an effort to help and to make me feel comfortable. The facilities were also great, clean and comfortable. Location is right in front on the Paris Nord train station, with all the train, Metro and bus connections. I will definitely book this hotel on my next intentional stay in Paris.

Nothing I didn't like.

SERVICE THAT WENT BEYOND THE CALL, A FRIENDLY HOTEL IN PARIS I arrived and was warmly welcomed by Cheikh, and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff made my stay so very pleasant, including the impromptu French lessons! This hotel is in a really brilliant location, right by the Gare de Nord, which made travelling back so easy. This is a compact hotel, after the style of an old train carriage, so some might find it a tad dark, but i enjoyed the style choices and really efficient service. My room had a little balcony looking over the street, and the shower and bathroom were really clean. The water was hot and everything was ship-shape - and my room was quiet. This hotel grew on me and I loved my time here. Even the bar was run on an 'honour' system - you just had to say what you had taken. I was made to feel welcome and as this was a solo trip it made a big difference - well done to all!

Perhaps you might not like the dark, carriage-style, but personally, I loved the ambience. Space is a premium in Paris but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and cosiness. Breakfast was a smallish buffet - and you might want to venture outside. (There was more than enough of everything for me, though.) Coffee and tea is free throughout the day.

The overall style and small details in the room (brass fittings) together with an excellent bed and bedding, and squeaky clean furntiture (tub!) in a new bath room made this a really enjoyable stay. Nice staff, very polite and forthcoming, helped with the suitcase and made sure I felt appreciated and welcome. The location is unsurpassed if you are travelling by plane or train in Northern France/Europe.

A very minor thing: The doors (outside of the rooms) are covered with make-believe wallpaper, where real (or even faux) leather and brass applications would have made all the difference for a coherent style. The room could have used a little more soundproofing; I could make out action/talking in the corridor (though not from the neighbors if there were any; and no sound from the exterior though), but not worse than most Parisian hotels.

It was good one night stay. We had a really early flight to catch so having a hotel right next to Gare Du Nord was perfect. The lobby was mainly the breakfast area. The reception staff was nice and kept our luggage as our room was not ready. They offered us free coffee & tea. The room was very beautifully decorated. It was very contemporary & unique set up. The room was small but that’s paris for you. The bathroom was surprisingly big and really nice. Overall a great one night stay and closer to metro & train station.

We didn’t explore the area as certain parts close to station look sketchy. But the hotel is great.

The location is obviously extremely convenient for very late arrivals into Gare du Nord as its basically 50m from the station exit. The downside is its a pretty low-brow immediate vicinity outside the door - but the room itself was quiet, no night-time noise disturbances at all (I was on the 5th floor). The room was very very comfortable (but small) and lacked any real chair to sit on.

The surrounding area is a little tacky and dirty and I would recommend heading away from the area during thday and evening for better experience of Paris - this hotel is largely a "train commuter" stop.

Beautiful and stylish room which was really comfortable and cleaned daily by the excellent housekeeping team. I enjoyed speaking some French with the very friendly, helpful staff who also spoke English very well. The young lady on reception was very efficient with passing on a message to me from family back home when there was a problem with my mobile network.

I couldn't really find any faults with anything and would very happily stay there again.

I liked the location to transportation available just a few steps away. We arrived in Paris from London by Eurostar. We took the Metro (4) and buses (54) to get around the city. And finally we grabed the RER B which took us to Charles de Gaulle airport. All where just minute on two from the hotel. The staff was very nice and all spoke English. They where very considerate. They met all our requests quickly. The decore in the room was excellent and had train travel of yesteryear theme. Our room had a street and Gare du Nord view from windows that opened. Amazingly, you could not hear the outside with the windows closed.

My biggest complaint was the lack of a refrigerator. While there where several places where I could get a cold soda or water, I was out of luck at night and the early morning.

This hotel has well decorated rooms. The room we had was well designed, comfortable and spacious for Paris city. The hammam was a bonus after a long day out. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The downstairs area was relaxing for a drink before dinner. I want to mention especially how professional and efficient the staff were. One member in particular, Cheikh, helped us with an issue which we had, which was not related to the hotel. Excellent service. The hotel was well located with lots of restaurant choices also.

Can’t think of any negatives.

We booked this room for the location as we left on the train for London at 6am and it is right across the street from Gare du Nord. The hotel is very modern, spotlessly clean and super quiet. We slept so well! The elevators were fantastic for our tired feet. The staff was very friendly. We left before breakfast so can't comment on that, but there are lots of food choices around. (We ate dinner at Romy's - delicious!)

The layout of the room was odd, the toilet was in a little room on one side of the bed and the sink/shower was in a room on the other side. Not a big deal at all, just different. The room is definitely on the smaller side, but perfectly adequate for 2 people.
