Mama Shelter stays true to their brand values. It's a brand and you feel it in every hotel. I went to Paris with my 2 children of 23 and 25 and they really liked the ambiance in the hotel. The hotel area is nice and we easily took the bus or tube to the center. I stay regurarly for business myself in a Mama Shelter and it's hotel where you have a very good price/quality for Paris. And yes the rooms are small but this is Paris. So that is normal. The rooms are always clean. Connecting to streaming services as Netflix (which is possible on the tv) did not work. But bon who watches tv when you are in Paris ;)

We thought the hotel was great. The bed was very comfortable and they had USB-C for your phones on both sides. We didn't stay in it very much because we were out in about but the curtains darken the room perfectly since it doesn't get dark till about 10 pm in Paris in July. The room had a frig, blow dryer, microwave, desk, safe, and the room was decorated pretty cool to my taste. As for the staff, they were great and everyone I talked to spoke english. They were very helpful and polite. And one more thing, the breakfast was amazing. I didn't get it with the room because I knew I would be taking trips early, but I had it once and it was great.

Well the Metro is about a 10-15 min walk and 25-30 mins from the Metro to the Eiffel Tower and by Bolt abut 20-25 Euros. When it comes to laundry, they had a service but I thought it was kinda of expensive since I'm use to doing it myself, but they had laundromat 5 mins away walking that uses contactless payment.

We loved the hotel as soon as we arrived. Cool decor and great atmosphere. Rooms have everything you need, very comfortable beds. The restaurant is lovely with a great menu & delicious cocktails. The live DJ made it a fun experience. The breakfast buffet looked amazing, although we had a “small” breakfast which was delicious. There is also a pizza oven restaurant serving delicious pizza. Also recommend the Tiramisu! Great hotel, good value and suited our need’s perfectly.

Location was not in “central” Paris area but easy to access and was not a problem for us. Bus, Metro and Uber taxi.

The staff was very friendly. Realy great. The bathroom could be a bit bigger. Breakfast was lovely. Good variety.

Our stay was overall realy great but the thing that could be better was the the food that is served on the different places. On the roof terras we could not order a seperate dish and only the bqq menu with a starter, main dish and desert, while we only wanted a main dish. This was also an issue on the terras on the ground floor. Only the severall dishes were possible to order outside and not the pizza, while the pizza was made behind the glass where we were sitting. It was nbot the problem of the staff they stayed positive all the time, but aparantly policy. If that sort of things change if will be even more great.

The breakfast options are really huge and what I've been able to taste had very good quality. The bed was very comfortable and the room with two windows + AC made it extremely easy to have always the perfect temperature in seconds.

It's dark even in places where it's not needed (e.g., the breakfast, close to the desk in the room). It's sort of creepy/unfinished: not really an happy place. When it is crowded it tends to be too noisy. The carpet in the room.

Nice ambiance and vibes at Mama Shelter as it always is. I stay here regurarly when I go to Paris. Price/Quality always a good solution. Breakfast buffet is fresh and amazing. All is there from fruits, to english breakfast, to cheeses and cured meat. Fresh juices, coffee. All that you want. Rooms are basic but trendy design, just what you need nothing more nothing less.

The airco's in the rooms are not working properly. We had 2 medium mama shelter rooms.

everything you need for a weekend trip to Paris. the rooms are amazing and clean ( the parfum scent in the room was really nice) food was also very good. Parking right under the hotel , charger for our electric car.

The rooms still feel fun and high-concept, even after years of staying here. Staff are v friendly, in house pizza is great. Comfy bed! The location might not feel like central Paris - but it’s very well connected and has a community feel all of its own. Try bistro des reveuses for lovely food and a great atmosphere, Le Pappillon for breakfast, visit Père Lachaise, wander to Belleville park (stunning view!). The market by Alexandre Dumas also. Merle Moquer bookshop. Etc. etc. We love it.

Really amazing location - nice bar and restaurant. Good to have the car garage inside the place. absolutely plus is the electric loading places.

Cars standing on the loading places without loading A weekend Breakfast end at 11.00 a.m is an absolute no go. that is a service from before yesterday ...people go out at night, late to bed, then not a single coffee is available at 12.00 that is a shame ...

Rooms a bit dark in terms of electrical lighting - but that is the stylised nature of the hotel. On arrival, a large group (20 people?) outside hotel blocking entrance gave impression they were waiting to check in - they seemed to be about to go on some activity. On a hot day, tired with with bags, it was not clear that we could just walk in. I suggest such groups meet a distance away from the front door of the hotel as we nearly queued with them.
