The location is superb. The room is spacious and very clean. We had 6 weeks touring France and this was the best appartment we stayed in.

Not too much to dislike at all.

My 2 daughters and I stayed on the top floor in a one bedroom air conditioned unit that also had a pull out sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen (with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), and bathroom with a shower. The accommodation is beautiful, stylish, clean, comfortable and spacious! Upon arriving you enter through a door from the street w/ a key code, walk through an entrance to a small courtyard w/ a 2nd door and key code, and then enter a foyer with a winding staircase up to the apartment (we felt safe). Host: the host was pleasant and communication was easy through booking.com. The host provided cleaning with fresh towels mid visit which we appreciated. Location: Rue Ballu is a quiet street in the 9th, but there is a market and several cafes around the corner. We walked everywhere but could get to the metro (Place de Clichy or Blanche) within five minutes when needed. We absolutely adored Montmartre and frequently visited in the evenings for dinner, to meander, attend a show at the Moulan Rouge, etc.

We loved the apartment and so these are just some suggestions to make guests more comfortable ~ The entrance between the street and courtyard needs lighting at night (we used our phones). The courtyard was undergoing construction so hopefully a light will be added when complete. More coat hangers in the closet would be helpful. The apartment next to us has two floors - we could hear the guests above us walking/sounded like they were moving chairs early in the morning. Otherwise, very quiet.

This is an exceptionally stylish and light-filled space with plenty of room for a large group. THe building is at the back of a courtyard off the main street, so lovely and quiet. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is a supermarket, boulangerie and numerous coffee houses within 100m and a metro station, bus stops and the Moulin Rouge just up the street. Montmartre is a pleasant 15 minute walk away. This apartment had everything we needed for a stay with kids, although we didn't do any cooking there. I would highly recommend, as long as you are OK with stairs.

The blind on the upstairs mezzanine was broken so it was light much too early in the morning.

Location was excellent to enjoy Montmartre and the Paris attractions and restaurants etc.

Beautiful spacious apartment with large windows that let lots of light in. Quiet neighborhood near many metro and bus lines. Apartment was very clean and so was the modern bathroom. Great shower. Good communication with owner and easy check in and out. Bed very comfortable. We only stayed 3 nights, but they provided a few sets of towels which was appreciated. Kitchen well equipped. When we were there, they were having trouble with the WiFi which they were trying to fix. They gave us one night's payment back as reimbursement which we thought quite generous. Really great apartment.

The biggest negative for this apartment was that our room was up two flights of stairs so if you have a lot of luggage or if climbing is a problem, this might not be for you. Also light bulbs a bit dim and no drawers to put clothes into.

The place is generally quiet. The bathrooms are nice and the whole apartment is clean. There are plenty of towels and the double beds are comfortable to sleep in. The appliances seem to be relatively new.

The walls are thin. The rubbish bin was broken and we couldn't get the coffee machine to work. As others have pointed out, there is a significant shortage of kitchen utensils. The sofa bed squeaks a lot. Note that the beds are only equipped with double blankets, but plenty of pillows. We missed a short introductory welcome note about the apartment when arriving.

It was a lovely clean and warm apartment to come back to after a day of exploring Paris. Nice and spacious with a good kitchen. We were a family of 3. Our adult son slept on a fold-out couch in the lounge but said it was comfortable. There was a good selection of cafe's and eateries within a block of the apartment and close enough to walk to the metro train stations and even to town which we did (a good 45-60min walk to the Eiffel Tower).

Lighting in the lounge wasn't good for reading or working on the laptop. Seemed quite dim.

The communication before and on arrival was excellent. The entrance to the apartment was very easy due to good instructions. The apartment is well stocked and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. Great to have two bathrooms and showers.

The cleanliness could have been better. The dining table was sticky. The apartment is actually is on level 3 (internal stair case when you get to level two). There is a major renovation next door which at times can be noisy. Overall it was a great apartment.

The facilities were great, but we would have preferred a washing machine, not the dishwasher. Great location. So central... lots of eating choices around, but also banks and grocery stores. Great area and so central. Loved also that there was an adequate amount of toilet paper, kitchen facilities... washing up liquid, sponge, dish towel, cutlery, kitchenware, although we did buy our own bowls as the ones in the apartment were too shallow for cereal. Also loved the windows & great shower/bathroom. So easy to locate and to get into. The directions were accurate! Great that photos were given too. We didn't meet anyone, but they were easy to contact & always responded quickly, which I also really liked. Very quiet once inside the apartment (& outside to be fair). It was absolutely lovely, would stay here again.

We would have liked a little rug in the kitchen/dining area and a washing machine. The floor was a little dusty and a mop would have been useful. Enjoyed having the TV, but wondered if this could be modernised allowing the holiday maker to use their own devices on it, for example, casting YouTube or Netflix etc on to it, so not limited in our choices of what we would like to watch. Other than that, loved it! Thank you.

Lovely apartment, in a beautiful traditional building. very well equipped for our stay. Fresh fluffy towels and high end bathrooms ensured a luxury home from home feel. Very comfortable beds and crisp white linen. The apartment was perfectly placed to see most of the sites in Paris and only a couple of streets away from Montmartre and the famous Sacrecoeur.

The stairs are not for the faint-hearted. I have health issues and an extra handrail on the other side of the stairs would help. Luggage access to the top floor was a struggle we had large suitcases . Could do with some one on-site to provide assistance . Apart from that the apartment was perfect.
