I've stayed at the St. Genis Ibis multiple times and I've always had a good stay. The staff are absolutely the best and are what makes this place great. My room was tidy and had a remarkably large bed (for France), probably a queen. The breakfast is exceptional and dinner is also wonderful. I will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises. They have very reasonable bicycle rentals at the hotel, much cheaper than in Geneve. I'll definitely rent next time. the staff was great driving me to the airport at an early hour and I was the only person needing a ride so it was a lot of work for them in Geneve traffic, but they were great!

These are minor points. I'm always on foot when I stay here and the location is slightly odd (for a walker). If you are driving you can ignore these comments. The hotel is a slight distance from the bus stop in St. Genis, and its a bit of a trail-walk... nothing the hotel can do about it. If you are a runner, jogger, cyclist, there is a bridge at the southern end of the industrial park which takes you to a trail on the opposite side of the Autoroute... highly recommended for exercise. For CERN travellers, its a great place to stay, but a long walk. I've done it many times.

rooms are nice, large, quiet, comfortable . AC works well. the building looks and feels new. staff very friendly.

Breakfast is poor - no veg. old fruits. but reasonable pastries. coffee.... is sad... location is not nice - middle of an industrial park. good if you have a car, bad any other way. walk to bus is about 1 km. travel to cern is a nightmare. promised shuttle never worked. (3 days, every day - today no...)

Clean, simple, friendly.

Food was disappointing on occasions. Chicken fillet was a small slice of breast that was inedible. Really only of use to a cobbler. 'Bar' wasn't seabass. Sauce vierge wasn't sauce vierge. If these were served in UK, closures would have followed. Complained and was told that the chef would be told. No response from the - I would imagine, short order cook - upsupervised? And on work experience?. No reply anyway - can only assume they don't care how the customer feels. Or perhaps, whisper it who dares, they think they know better than the customer....... Surely not in France, where the food is, of course, sublime. Or subliminal. Other than that, the staff were delightful and we had a great few days in difficult over-riding circumstances.

It was lovely to have a pool to jump into even though it poured rain the second we walked out. we were late back the next day and didnt get to have a swim again. We chose the property becasue of pool, aircon and parking. After some previous let downs we were pleasantly surprised. staff were amazing.

The location was in a far flung part of Geneva on the French side. getting into town involved a long walk, a bus and a long tram ride. It was ok but took a large chunk of our day away.

All Staffs are very responsive and supportive. Alicia and Salima were superb plus a black guy in the kitchen, whom I didnt recall his name.

The choice of food was very limited to western and there was no room for flexibility. In most Hotel of comsopolitan nature people tend to be flexible with varieties at least having Options for Orientals (Indians/Arabic) which is also popular to over the quarter to a third of world population (Asia and Africa).

Hotel is located in a beautiful small green town. Very cosy, clean and comfortable hotel. The staff is really friendly and always helpful. They have a good restaurant for a nice dinner in the evening. They even have a pool. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to swim, because it closes early in the evening and during a day we were busy with the other activity.

The hotel is close to the road and there was always a noise from traffic. The breakfast was pretty good, even though not a big choice.

They are currently not providing shuttle service on weekends, something that is very problematic when you arrive and depart to airport. Please change on this issue to atleast provide shuttle on weekends just for the two events.

For not being afforded shuttle upon arrival and at late hours as I travel as far as from Botswana, Southern Africa. This is an area that needs management attention to deal with it immediately.

This is a pretty normal IBIS. Basc but clean amd comfortable. There were bikes avallable which was great as this is in the country side and perfect for biking. It is a 35min walk from there to CERN visiting centre

This in in a techno park so restaurant options are very limited

Air conditioning was a welcome site, since it was unseasonably hot. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the restaurant also. Shuttle to airport was wonderful and on time. Very nice stay.

As an American, it was strange to not have washcloths or tissue. They do need a handrail to get in and out of shower as it is a bit of a step down.

There were a lot of choices available and what we had was good. Location is quiet, has a swimming pool.

Location on a trading estate. The scrambled eggs seem to have come out of the fridge instead of a frying pan. Very wet and lukewarm at best.
