B&B HOTEL Saint Jean de Luz

I have stayed here before which is why I chose it, the room was well eqiped with a large wall mounted TV, it was very clean, tidy and comfortable, there are plug in points for charging phones or other electricals, the shower room was spacious and very clean with towels provided and some soaps, the room although close to a busy dual carriageway was very very quiet with excellent double glazing, there is an aircon/inverter in the room but I didn't need to use it. There is plenty of free parking on site and the breakfast had adequate options for most peoples tastes or needs, There is a vending machine in the foyer that dispenses snacks as well as hot and cold drinks, the menu is in multiple languages.

Convenient location near to the motorway. Easy place to use for an overnight stay. The hotel provided the basic necessities for a stopover: comfortable bed, wifi and functional bathroom. Parking was easy and private. A large supermarket and other stores were within walking distance so we could buy dinner.

Room was a bit dingey with dark furniture. Receptionist did not speak English, which is unusual for such a chain hotel. There is not a large choice of restaurants nearby. Breakfast cost extra. There was no kettle in the room.

Modern hotel with fast Internet, clean room, good shower, dogs are welcome, soundproof rooms/windows, (there is the motorway and fast road on one side and train line on the other side of hotel, but you hear nothing in the room, it's very quiet), coffee machine in the lobby, and you can have good breakfast there if you want, it's good for an overnight stay if you are travelling, private fenced parking

Some picnic tables and sitting place on the outside would have been nice, after a long car ride, it was difficult to find place to walk the dog, the nearby beach has signs everywhere that dogs are not allowed and all surrounding roads of hotel have lots of traffic on it..... Not really fault of hotel, just something to think about as a dog owner

Very welcoming and kind chap on check in, who confirmed my request for a quiet room before I even brought it up - this is rare! Great location, huge Carrefour opposite had the best pastel de nata for breakfast. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable.

Needed a second pillow and forgot to ask before reception shut. A kettle would have been nice.

I asked for a 'pet free room' due to allergies and we probably got a family room for that reason... Quite spacious and quiet! Nice bed and pillows. Nice shower.

The shower head itself was connected really high at the wall which for smaller people than us seemed rather inconvenient.

Stayed here several times as a really good stopover when driving.

Would have loved air-conditioning in the room, always bring my own travel kettle for a cup of tea in the morning

Comfortable, large bed with extra pillows. Nice size bedroom with a desk and plenty of room for luggage and walking around. The balcony was a nice bonus. The bathroom and shower had everything one would need - shampoo, soap, nice new towels. It was a comfortable stay.

This is a new hotel with good facilities. It is next to the Campanile, adjacent to the main road ( not the motorway). Breakfast was good and the room fine. I had my dog with me and they gave me a ground floor room which was helpful.

Signage to help me find it was poor as it’s down a lane. Campanile is well signed and this hotel should sign adjacent to the campanile sign.

I wanted an easy-to-find hotel arriving late at night for a stop-off on a journey from France to Spain. This hotel met that aspiration and exceeded expectations in terms of the ease of access and my room. Despite being near the motorway, it was also quiet.

Pleasant surprise near the motorway. Standard comfort rooms but well appointed and very quiet considering the A 63 is just accross the road. You can really rest . We did not think about the breakfast and decided on the morning to take it. Great organisation, the staff is professional , polite and on top of things. Fresh and excellent value for money , just what you need to start the day.
