We loved this nice little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of St Jean de Luz. The location is excellent, a very short walk to the beachfront and to bars, restaurants, shops and sights in the old town. Our room was small, but comfortable and well appointed with a very comfortable big bed, desk, modern bathroom and two closets. Wifi and AC worked well, and it was nice to have an elevator for getting luggage in/out. The hotel also has a sitting room and honesty bar (we appreciated being able to use the wine glasses in the evening). It was very quiet, although we faced the front street (a small side street without much/any traffic). The hosts/sfaff were very nice and helpful – including providing us with a beach umbrella and beach towels to use. Breakfast was served out in the pretty little back garden area, with a choice of breads, cereals, fruit, and eggs if desired. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel and rooms were very nicely decorated and well presented. A friendly reception on arrival. Plenty of wardrobe space and it’s always useful to have a room safe. The rooms were compact but well organised and nicely equipped. Also a very good shower. There was a pleasant breakfast area and despite a limited choice it was all very good quality.

As a group of 4 it would have been useful to have a lounge area to spend some time together. Only 2 coffee pods and 2 teabags were supplied for a 2 night stay. It would have been good to have them refreshed but we had to pay 50 cents per pod. The hair dryer lacks a little power for a quick turnaround.

Top spot. Very friendly and helpful staff and owners. Loved the courtyard for breakfast. The room was small but we knew that when we booked but very comfy bed and fab Dyson air con. Which was useful as we did close the window as it’s a busy street early in the mornings. Superb location.

We loved staying at this appealing, charming hotel almost at the beach and located so conveniently to the center. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great. The rooms are individually decorated and are in style for Saint Jean de Luz. Again, "charming" comes to mind. There is also garage parking if reserved ahead - a definite plus. We will stay here each time we come to this wonderful town.

This is a beautiful kind of old fashioned hotel. Very comfy and super friendly staff. The location is great as it is just a minute walk to the beach, a bit noisy at night but that is outweighed by the fact that you can hear the waves in the night and you can't be right in town without a bit of noise. Super breakfast. We will be back!

grand confort chambre was not so „grand“ requested a room to the court interieure or upper floor. we got a room facing the street 1st floor . not a Problem, street is quiet and windows good. however, i like if the hotel responds to special requests.

A small but perfectly formed hotel. Beautifully presented rooms, friendly staff, very close to the beach and the town centre. Only stayed the one night, but would happily go back.

A bit expensive, but I think all hotels in St Jean de Luz are.

Excellent location to beach, for walking g the promenade as well as for shopping and dining. Lovely breakfast. You can also order it to your room! Has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. And I liked having an elevator! Wonderful stay, which we highly recommend.

Wifi was one of those where I had to temporarily disable the firewall on my PC before it would connect to the access page - frustrting. The room was warm, but the airco seemed only to have a "heat" mode.

A lovely small hotel with old style charm, in a great location in the centre of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, very close to the beach. We benefited from a Basque summer solstice celebration which brought the town alive.
