Loved the history of the Manor, the location, an easy walk into Bayeux, the delicious breakfast, and the marvelous hostess, Isolde. The house has been in her family since the 1750s, it felt perfect to be staying in such an historic home when exploring such an ancient region.

I loved it all, but it is not for mobility challenged, with lots of stairs. The room is like a time capsule, so if you want everything perfect and modern you won't get that. But you will have the authenticity of staying in a very well equipped room from a gentler Era.

Lovely building with lots of personal touches in the rooms and bathroom. They only rent out a room with 1 double bed and a room with 2 single beds with a small seating area in between the two rooms, so as a family of four you feel very special as the only guests. There was a wide choice of breakfast items and the strawberries and fresh mint that we were served on the first day were delicious. The proprietor was very helpful with restaurants and with advice about what to visit in the local area.

Not a problem for early risers, but the church clock next door starts ringing its bells on the hour from 7am onwards.

Breakfast: Beautiful room, lots of variety, all very fresh. Bedroom: spacious, delightfully furnished, quiet. Position: easy access to the centre of Bayeaux. Owl hooting at night, woken by church bells in the morning. A truly French experience.

If we had a longer stay!

Excellent breakfast, lovely grounds and perfectly placed for all D-Day sites

Not a complaint but if you have mobility problems, be aware that you will have to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs.

Yseult was a wonderful host and accommodated our needs perfectly - we had some issues charging our electric car, and she kindly let us slow charge overnight with the help of an extension cord, and arranged an early breakfast for us on the day of departure. Breakfasts were fresh and wonderful.

The Manoir was magnificent. The host is a very special lady. She couldn’t be more welcoming, kind or helpful. She’s extremely knowledgable about Bayeux history and places to visit, eat etc. The breakfast was superb. The location is ideal, around a 15 min walk to the centre of Bayeux.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Yseult was a lovely host, sharing her home that has been in her family since 1755

If you want modern fixtures and fittings this is not for you, but if you want history and classical style this is perfect

The friendly, helpful owner who made us feel very welcome. The location is close to the centre of Bayeax, and yet you could be in the countryside as Manor is set in large grounds. Only a 20min drive to the D-day beaches. Great breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend this place for exploring this part of Normandy.

We received a lovely welcome and made to feel very included in the home. Breakfast was great. The location was superb, so quiet and peaceful we were able to sit in the garden and chill out. Town was about a ten minute walk with lots to see and do. The first weekend in July is the Medieval Weekend - really worth a visit!
