The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner, both the set menu and a la carte, was tasty, well presented and reasonably well priced for the location. A wide selection of items was available at the breakfast buffet. Nice to have a sauna. Good access to and from the pistes. Accessible, warm ski and boot store. Lounge area with fireplace made for pleasant after-dinner relaxation. The room was comfortable with a great view when sun set over the slopes. Interesting array of hooks around the room for hanging up and drying clothes.

Wet room type bathroom - though the underfloor heating in it was effective. The pizza oven and steam room/hamam were not working. Would have liked a kettle and two balcony chairs in the bedroom.

The hotel was warm and comfortable with well-thought-out rooms that had lots of pegs around the walls for all of our ski clothes, helmets etc. Good boot/board/ski storage area on the ground floor with somewhere comfy to put on boots etc. and very close to the ski lifts. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good with a really nice selection of things. The food in general was excellent and we had dinner there about 4 nights out of 7. The bar is fun and the apres on the balcony is lovely. We often didn't make it anywhere after that... Overall, a great hotel that was good value and we would return.

The beds were a bit soft for me as I have disc issues and the ensuite/wet room was definitely wet! The shower soaks everything. They provide a squeegee, but it's a bit of a pain. The floors just need to slope more towards the drainage and the showerheads need adjusting.

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Tango between Christmas and New Year. Rooms were very spacious and comfy with a great view over the slopes. Breakfast was great every morning, cheapest in the area too! New Year’s Eve dinner was fabulous, best food we had all week. Atmosphere in the hotel was everything we wanted! Great apres ski crowd and comfy seats to relax in front of fire. Hotel staff were so friendly!

No parking available with the hotel. (Not many hotels do) If travelling by car, best to book car park P0 or P1 as soon as possible to be near the hotel. We left it last min and had to park in the P4 which was a taxi job to get up and down when bus wasn’t running.

The location is terrific, staff are very nice, and the views from the baloconies are amazing

The hotel is not really ski in ski out. There's a 1-2 minute walk to the nearest slope. But that comes with the greatest location in town. Also, a curtain in the shower would improve the shower experience a lot, because as it is now, you end up making the toilet wet while taking a shower.

Fantastic location for skiing. You can start or end your ski trip within super close proximity of the hotel (<20 meters). The general area with bar and restaurant is really nice and cozy. Prices of food and drinks are affordable. Hotel has a nice vibe and super helpful staff.

The room was not super big, but acceptable. The shower had no door or separation which means that other parts of the bathroom get wet easily.

Excellent location- ski in and out Boot room for skis and boots which was handy.

Cleanliness was poor, room was often not cleaned properly (not hoovered/cobwebs, shower tiles grubby, toilet stained) Terrace was often full of cigarette butts left from staff and ski instructors, glasses knocked off the balcony and left (were there all week right where you ski past!) Room often not restocked with toilet paper or fresh towels (despite me leaving them on the floor) and had to ask several times. Staff often very reluctant to help or serve you, end of season so I think there was lack of care. Staff in the evening often smoking outside, sitting at bar or on sofas which I found quite unprofessional and particularly when the chef then goes and makes the pizzas!

Great location. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Good food and beer - reasonable prices in the restaurant and bar! Loved it. Ski in and ski out very easy.

Someone stole my ski poles 😫 from the ski room. Clearly not the fault of the staff, but the ski room doesn’t have much / any security.

Door on the shower area to stop the water splashing everywhere in the bathroom Bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans for example would have been a nice alternative to those allergic to eggs

Great location, great food and drink at good prices and the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do more for you!

Our room was the floor above the restaurant and the scraping of the chairs kept us up all night. The staff were very kind and moved us 3 floors up, we could still hear it but it didn’t keep us up

The price !! expensive but very nice, no parking outside like most places in val thorens, but parking car was nightmare, expected to park in the local car park p0 but was sent to p3 to park which is outside of town but not tangos fault
