The Manoir is in a beautiful setting bordering onto the River Sarthe. The gardens are large with plenty of seating and there is a small pool which was covered when we were there but can be open. There is ample parking and the gates are on a cops so very secure. Our room was large and comfy with air conditioning and an en suite. Breakfast is continental- eggs, nuts, fruit, pastries etc. Both the hosts were charming and welcoming. We only stayed for a night but would happily stay here again, hopefully longer and visit the surrounding area.

Beautiful property just next to the river. Easy to find. Owners were more than perfect and spoke better English than we did French. Lovely couple. Breakfast superb. Rooms immaculate. Bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Views of countryside from bedroom stunning. Will be going back on our next road trip to Spain as it was simply lovely.

Hosts were charming, even carried our bags upstairs, breakfast was everything you could wish for. Host made a special trip to the shops to obtain some Earl Grey Tea. One of the rooms was double aspect and looked over the river and the very pleasant gardens. I imagine that with permission one can fish from the bank of the river. 10/10

Nothing all was good

Hosts were very welcoming and friendly after a 14 hour travel, that just what we needed. It was late and we were quickly directed to a local restaurant which was lovely and only a 5 minute walk. Grounds and rooms are beautiful! Breakfast was great, good selection of food. Wish we could have stayed longer very peaceful and relaxing, definitely helped recharge to continue travel. Thank you.

We were very warmly welcomed and looked after by our hosts in their fabulous period property in beautiful grounds situated on the outskirts of Le Mans. Very comfortable large rooms. The pool was a welcome bonus after a day driving in the car. Highly recommend.

The property is close to a main road which slightly affects the peacefulness of this lovely spot.

Pierre and Chantal were very welcoming hosts who provided an excellent breakfast. The swimming pool was a very welcome way to relax when the temperature was in the low 30s. (Swimming towels and bathrobes were provided). The house and garden are full of art - I believe both the owners are artists. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance or we could have driven into Le Mans itself. We would happily stay here again as the location is so convenient, just off the motorway.

Great location with clear signs on the road nearby. Beautiful, traditional French manor house with lovely gardens and swimming pool. The room was really big and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely - nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was excellent. Would happily stay here again.

Lovely hosts Chantal and Pierre were very charming and helpful, great place for a overnight stay will definitely use this property again hope to see you both later in the year and thank you for booking us into the bistro in the village which was brilliant,

Nothing to not like

Greeted by a very helpful host and lovely dog. Shown to our room with all the key information provided rapidly to allow us to relax after our long drive Pool and grounds are superb. Room is clean and palatial. Coffee and tea facilities in the room are excellent. Breakfast was fresh, with regional specialities. Hosts were attentive and catered to our every need.

Nothing to dislike about any aspect of our stay. 10/10

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was good. It also had secure off road parking at the property.

The swimming pool was empty and the grounds required a little bit of maintenance.
